I tried the beta of the new AVG. I'll simply say that in less than a day I'd uninstalled it and reverted back to the old version. My problems where more extensive I think, as in windows 7 preview it would not allow me to connect the the internet at all.

So I went and bought kaspersky instead, and never looked back.

BTW are you using the free version of AVG? If you are, would you prefer to use the full version of zonealarm internet security instead? I bought that, but now I'm using kaspersky I no longer use it, and it seems a shame to let the code go to waste.

Oh goodness, I'm thankful my problems haven't been that extensive. I can access the Internet, but I have to reload every page at least 3 times before it will load, or switch over to Opera when I can't tolerate it anymore

LOL! It wouldn't be any good if they did give refunds as I got the code when I signed someone up for one of those services via trial play. So the code was free, but it's still a shame not to use it.

I'm not too sure exactly how long there is remaining. I think there's still over half a year but I'll need to install it to make sure. I hope I put the license away safe and where I can find it.. :)
