Can I eat it now?

My roast is done in the crock pot, but we won't be eating it until another 12 hours or so.
Should I leave it on warm, or take the liner out and put all of the food into a casserole dish to cool?

It smells....so....good...!

cooking, food

put it on the lowest setting and add a bit more water every few hours to keep it moist =)Add more spices etc to keep the flavor undiluted- a roast that sits and simmers in its juices all day is HEAVENLY.

My mom does that with roast in the oven and by the end of the day it falls off the fork and melts in your mouth. It's AMAZING.
