I got some fabric or the pirate short and cut a muslin out of old sheets tonight. The shoulders are way wide on the largest size but I need the space in the gut. I think the main differences between Adam Ant and Liberace are that Liberace really played an instrument, and Adam Ant apparently really is straight. ;-) Costuming wise however, I dunno, pretty similar!

I gather Adam's been in and out of mental health issues over the last few years. Kind of makes sense of why so many of his lyrics sounded like they were working out feels about his treatment in the press. One of those people who takes things really hard. Not that I know anything about THAT. But yeah: I somehow don't think I ever really read him as gay. Just as rad.
