No she's not, they've actually been engaged for quite a while, since summer '03. His fiancee is really nice actually, I think it just surprised everyone that out of the class of '03 group, he is the first one getting married.
In other news, in case no one updated you, Heather Belaus is engaged (to Jon Adams, the Psi U brother she started dating when my class was juniors) as of October-ish and Rachel Goodman is also engaged (to EJ) as of a week or so ago.
In other other news, I am still a civil engineer, and I am very annoyed at other civil engineers who DON'T KNOW WHAT THE FUCK THEY ARE DOING.
Yikes! There are just WAY too many people youger than me who are getting married! But seriously, that's all great news. I hope all of them are happy.
I can sympathize with your situation at work. I have the same problem, except it's everyone but the structural guys I work with that don't know what they hell they are doing. Let's just face it, the world is full of lazy morons who's apparent purpose in life is to make yours difficult.

We're going out for Big D's birthday on Friday night, possibly D'Orio's in Waterbury. Please see if your schedule (and Jill's) is relenting.
