I can see Duo humming "Goodbye Earl" as he left the interview. I loved this. I can even here the line "It couldn't have happened to a nicer person." somewhere in there, all sarcastic. Must reread this when I get home from work.

I can too, sadly, to both. The only person I feel bad for is the guy who had to do the interviews. No doubt he hated his job for a while.

Oho! Not a family to mess with indeed! I feel very very sorry for that poor investigator, and I can just see Heero refusing to say anything, and wufei launching into that tirade...

Neither Heero nor Wufei would be very happy to be investigated and after their experiences with OZ a local police detective is not likely to be intimidating.

Honestly... I thought it was amusing despite the tragic end of this Derek person. It's definitely an execution/assassination but other than that no one can prove it. :3 So I can so see this happening.

It is kind of a dark comedy in tone. I could easily see something like this happening too. It does not do to tick off a gundam pilot or two.
