WOOT! ANOTHER CHAPTER! I've been looking forward to this. I love Foster. I love how you write her, I love how she pwns at life and even Torres is amazed. Man, she's got some balls. I wish Cal would've tackled Bobby just because that would've been amusing and awesome, but man, this case sounds interesting. I can't wait for the next chapter!

Thanks! Yeah, she was a bit aggressive in this chap, but she'll mellow out next chap... Which is on it's way shortly. Thanks for taking the time to review!

Love where this is going. Can't wait to read more!

I have to agree with you about Zoe, I like her character too. Especially the way Cal is with her (not as sweet as he is with Gillian, but then we all know why that is ;D)

I NEVER REVIEWED THIS THE FIRST TIME ROUND? WHAT IS WRONG.

I have now seen almost three seasons of the Practice. Things make much more sense. Also, Bobby's eyes kiiiiind of weird me out, they're so piercingly blue.

her inner polite host took over bc Gillian Foster is the most awesome ever. The very picture of graciousness.

praying to God that she could get out of this relatively unscathed OUCH. OUCH. THIS HURTS IN RETROSPECT.

Zoe crossed her legs "petulantly"; last chapter, Cal said "Zoe can too afford us." They're perfect for each other. Neither one really grew up. (Sorry, Zoe.)

AND THIS IS JUST LIKE ALMOST EVERY EPISODE OF THE PRACTICE WHERE I GOT FRUSTRATED WITH THE CLIENTS THEY'RE DEFENDING. ARG DEFENSE.

Wait, I figured out how to delete comments! Yay! Okay. LET'S TRY THIS AGAIN.

This is still the beginning, so reviews are kind of short. Oh, and I've already reviewed chapter one on ffnet; I'm Village Hall over there. So that was... that.

BUT NOW I CAN USE SPARKLETEXT. AND THE REVIEWS GET LONGER.

Beautiful array of colors: this could still be a manifestation of the meticulousness, but it also seems like colors relax her - they ground her to reality. That, or they remind her of something that makes her happier (perhaps that locked-up part of her heart that's mentioned later)?

The feelings she associates with Bobby - "anger, distrust, dissapointment, frustration, and good old-fashioned fear."

:(

That conversation, or banter, or intellectual faceoff - whatever it was - between Bobby and Gillian? It has the perfect balance. You've captured the awkwardness and tension that's surely there in an absolutely realistic way.

I LOVE THE POOR RENDITION OF HENRI, BUT IT WILL ALWAYS SUFFICE.

OH THE COLOR. IT IS ALL QUITE GLORIOUS I MUST SAY. THANK YOU BB.

I FIND THAT SINCE WE TRULY KNOW VERY LITTLE ABOUT GILLIAN, AS LONG AS ANYTHING IS PORTRAYED IN A SUBTLE, NUANCED WAY, JUST ABOUT ANYTHING COULD FLY. SO HAVING HER EASILY DRAWN IN BY EMOTION OR LETTING HER EMPATHY MOTIVATE SOME OF WHAT SHE DOES IS PLAUSIBLE AND NOT ALL THAT OUTLANDISH... IMHO.

THANKS FOR REVIEWING BB. IT DELIGHTS ME.
