Some thoughts?

I donated blood on Tuesday--w3wt, beat the crowd! (Or, at least, I would hope there's a crowd. 9_9) They gave me a coupon for a free pint of ice cream? And entered me into two raffles o_o. I never got any of this the last, what, 10 times I donated? Is there really not a lot of people donating blood

I want to donate blood, but I'm so scared. Oh dear, is it painful? How long did you sit there?

I think there were a buncha bonuses because they'll probably need blood for people that were in Katarina (however you spell it. oh dear). I'll try and work up the guts to donate blood.

It hurts a little bit, but it never takes more than 10 minutes for me (this last time it took only 6 minutes to fill up a pint)--it depends on how well your blood circulates though. Sometimes they can screw up and not find your vein, or the needle slips out of the vein, in which they'll continue jabbing at you for the next 15 minutes before giving you the "I tried!" sticker. 9_9() But that only happened once to me, and at least you feel somewhat noble about it afterwards. :D()
