When I get caught up with my 9-pages-a-week schedule (I'm, like, three days behind _-_), Laura and I are going to celebrate by eating at a semi-expensive restaurant, even though we won't be able to pay for it! (We've got many celebrations involving semi-expensive restaurants planned. None of which involve telling my mum about it. ;D

But all in all, every FF after 7 just annoys me to no end. (FF9 excluded, but it DID have the weirdest character art.) FF8 was full of wangst and borderline gay, FF9 was just weird and had Kuja, FFX had really bad character designs and FFX-2 was like a Barbie game (but, to its credit, as such was much more fun than FFX had ever been)...

Provided I can stop cringing away from Vaan long enough to try and play FFX12, I hope the plot isn't as bad as it has been.

If you really want a fur coat, you could always buy a coat and have the fur added later. Though, fur in general is pricey...

I got this nice white Dollhouse parka from Ross [Haha, yes! Ross!] last year for like... $20. It had this cheesy faux fur trim on the hood and sleeves. When I brought it home over Christmas break last year, my dad saw it and said, "You know, if you want real fur I could get it for you." [He works in Alaska, you see...] So, he brought me some Arctic white fox fur from a seller he knows and I sewed it on myself. And believe me, it looks way spiffy. ♥

So I suppose if you're really into fur, you could do the same. I could probably get it for you, even! Though... I think for the mere two square feet of fur I used cost upwards of $100... but that was just for that particular kind of fur. I don't know about fully-furred coats [which is probably HIGHWAY ROBBERY!], but you could add trim to coats you already own. ^_^

I don't think the character designs are suddenly crazy, I think FF7 and FF8 were suddenly not crazy (I guess their inexperience with 3D made them hold back a little in the crazy wardrobe department). I mean, look at the character designs for FF6 and before, they're horrible! All of the men are drawn like they're either women or transvestites. Kefka's drawn like he's Boy George decided to take over the world and Lcoke's drawn like a woman. I rememeber a friend of mine seeing that Locke drawing and going "I don't rememeber that girl being in the game."

Aheheheh, this is true. XD But with FF6 and prior, I guess they hired, like, a person to adapt Amano's original designs for the game so that it ended up being far less crazy than what was originally intended, whereas the person who adapted his designs in FF9 kept most of the craziness...?
