wait. erick is not right. you can use anywhere from 8-10lb weights and still get sleek and defined muscles. he is coming at it from a boy's angle...and boys have a completely different mindset when it comes to weight loss and weight lifting. seek fitness magazine or shape magazine for further info.
ps. the beer isn't so bad, maybe try that lowcarb beer? or a vodka and diet tonic if you just can't resist?
his thing is that i have fat/weight to lose first. i need to lower my body fat around the muscles before i start toning them with weights or i will have toned arms under fat making me look bulky. very low weight lots of reps = good.
he is an "endurance cardiovascular strength" guy not a weight lifter... think 40 minutes on the rowing machine at level 10.
