Wow am I ever so glad to read this! I miss you here…seriously, I was just thinking about you. There is a dearth of people writing with candor about their worlds, and looking beyond the ends of their noses: sharing with vulnerability about their real lives while also thinking about how those lives fit into a broader world. You used to be great at that, and I miss that. But I am oh-so-glad to hear that you’re doing well and all of this news. I will celebrate that virtually and be grateful that all is well.
I got an email from LJ telling me you posted and have been meaning to come here and reply. But it took a while to remember my password. Haha.
Yay, Wegovy! I went from 250 last March and as of yesterday am down to 175 thanks to this miracle of modern medicine.
We finally moved out of downtown Baltimore last September into a mid-century-modern suburb of my dreams. I had forgotten how much I missed the vibe of the mid-to-late 50's that I grew up in. It's been delightful. Spring is springing here and I'm loving creating a yard and plantings of my satisfaction.
How is "small boy"? I imagine he's launched well by now. Yay the eldest son is getting married and I imagine fully recovered from that accident you were afraid would ruin his life!
