Never seen edge of darkness... but it was an enjoyable episode...

This does mean, of course that the the next episode will see Gene hunt playing golf in Scotland, giving a speach at a NATO conference on energy weapons, causing a brief criticality accident, before being shot.

Bolly-knickers will be ravaged by radiation sickness and be buried in a lead-lined coffin, and not turn into a tree.

Black flowers overtake the world. Humanity dies.

Perhaps not quite the story arc we're expecting... ;)
