So I think Tumblr may be taking over my life. Who knew that it could be so bloody addictive and rather funny at times ( Read more... )

Personally, I don't believe in evolution because I believe in creation as the Bible tells it, but that's just me and I'm not gonna hate on you for believing what you do.

Those dragon thingies sound adorable!

*sigh* I've checked out Tumblr--or more accurately, a couple of peoples' individual Tumblrs--and I am still thoroughly lost on how to navigate it or whether I'm even interested. I've only seen people sharing things that other people shared from other peoples' accounts, and they've all been pictures. No writing stuff that I can see, or none that I can recognise as such because the quoted bits are so freaking short. I'll have to google the site and see if I can find a help page. I'm not sure I'll join, but you never know. :D

Well, my belief is that God is behind evolution because there is just too much evidence too belief that the big bang happened precisely the way it happened and if it was just off a little bit, then we wouldn't exist and it was all just a coincidence and what not. The Bible says seven days God created the universe, but a day to God could be a couple of billion years. God is infinite and I suspect so is time to him. I should send you a PM saying mor of this before it become a theological forum ahaha ( ... )

I'll say you make a valid point and leave it there, I promise. :D

Ooh, those little feathered dragons are really cute! . . . I kind of wants one for my own now, ha ha. ^^;

If you are given permission to post the pictures of your dragons then I look forward to seeing them! :)

I'm somewhat afraid to get my own Tumblr because of that reason. (Another is because it looks quite overwhelming, or at least to me it does.) But I might cave and sign myself up... and possibly never use it ever if its more than I bargained for, ha ha

The prices aren't too bad for a product on Etsy and if you order one now before December 13, I believe you get it for 15% off.
I know I'll be able to post pics of the critters when they arrive, my question is whether can post pics of the progress, because she considers her methods a trade secret, which is why she won't do tutorials on them, and I don't want to upset her by posting progress pictures w/out her permission.
Also, I almost did a Loki/Thor theme with my dragon bbs. One was almost gold and green while the other would have been mostly blues golds, and silvers lol. But then I fixed it :D

Oh, and while Tumblr seems kind of scary, I got the hang of it pretty quickly, and if I, technologically inept, can handle it, well. . . lolol

That's a pretty good deal.

. . . OK, yep, I think I'm gonna see if I can get one commissioned for myself now, ha ha. XD

That would have been cool if you did the Loki and Thor theme! :D (Ha ha ha, I'm... probably going to make mine Loki theme, if I'm able to. That, or maybe a theme based off on someone from the DC Universe. ^^;) Regardless, though, the colors you picked for your baby dragons sound totes awesome and adorable! :D

You can also make them longer as well. Mine will be sixteen inches long actually.
I have so many ideas for more themes in the future, like a fire themed with blacks and golds and reds, a silver one so many babies so little time.

Oh, if you go to her Etsy page (magweno is who you're looking for), you'll see that she has a lot of "template" dragons. They may be sold out, but you can always request to do one of those dragons, like the Egyptian, the Pennant, Toffee, Jade and many others, and it will not cost extra, it would be the usual 34$. Just in case you find that one of the critters she already did matches up with a theme of yours :D

I agree with you about that downside of Tumblr. I'll hit "Like" to a few social issue posts I like, but I don't generally wanna try reblogging them (even aside from the fact that they wouldn't fit in with the theme of my Tumblr).

Oh, those Ophies are cute! And so soft-looking. I wouldn't have that much money to spend on them, but that's awesome about how patient and professional the creator is!

Yeah, I understand. I just want to use Tumblr for fun and what not.

The creator (magweno if you're curious about finding her Etsy page) told me that the body is minky, which is really soft. I don't know what the manes and tails are composed of.

Yeah, same here.

Oooh, minky is absolutely delightful.
