I said it before, but I'll say it again--this was so well done! The first person setting that you do so well really pulls the reader into this in a way that is very uncomfortable in some ways, very tender in others. It's impossible to look away, and it really makes the situation so very real.
I'm so glad you posted this here! I actually sat up straighter in my chair and grinned broadly when I saw your banner! :D
ps. you didn't whine as much as fret that you wanted to do your best, and that's the best kind of fretting, in my book.
Thanks hon! I'm glad it still works. I actually managed to get some reviews when it went up at the exchange, Which for me is saying something because I'm lucky to get any feedback at all on the things I write.
We fic readers are terribly lax in that, I find. I'm hoping that with no more books coming, the tendency to skip reviewing will be less frequent--after all, fanfiction will be all we have left... that and the films, but no one reviews those to their creators anyway.
I notice that I hardly ever get reviews on things I post to fic communities, just in my own journal, so it's probably that we're all in our own worlds, posting our stuff (like in 100quills) without looking at anyone else's :(

I deleted the first post I made of this one here by accident so... I'm replaceing my first comment:

My Lord, woman. That was amazing! Siriusly. I want more. I want some chapters to bring me to this point. This was some of the best fanfic I've read. Really very impressive.
thank you so much for sharing and I look forward to reading anything else you may come up with in the future.
Wow, thank you. This story allowed me to really go to places I had never gone in my writing before, and for that I will always be grateful to you. I've added you as a friend. Thanks again for the wonderful oppertunity to create something I actually love for a change.

I'm not one for begging for reviews, so I really appreciate the ones I get.
