I bet Eric will notice movement soon enough. Mom Pony likes to tell people about how, when she was pregnant with me, I'd twist and turn so much that these lumps would pop up on her tummy and shoot around. She always thought that was entertaining.
Babies never kick for me. :-P I could stick my hands on my sisters' bellies for hours on end and nothing, then soon as I give up and move on...kick. Fortunately my nieces and nephews have thus like me alright once they were out of mum. ;-)
I hope everything looks a-okay good, even if the little tike sits crosslegged. *hugs*
After hanging out with my buddy Sam constantly during her 9 months, I've realized several things I never knew. The main one being that no pregnancy is the same, LOL.
However I will say that Sage did not move around so much when Sam was in the early months, but when she hit 8 / 9? Dear god it looked like something out of Alien. We'd be sitting at the table and I would watch her shirt move around, LOL. For Halloween I wanted to paint alien claws ripping their way out of her stomach but Sam just glared at me. *g*
Good luck in April! May you find out if it is a girl or a boy quickly, and hope that they give you the right gender. (Buying pink / blue for the opposite gender would be a bummer ... we were hoping to god that the doc was right and Sam was having a girl, as her relatives spent hundreds of dollars decorating the room in PINK FAIRIES, LOL!)
Pink fairies? Wow, yeah, that'd have been hard if it was a boy after all! We are going the neutral route. Rooms going to be pale yellow and we are going with the classic Pooh stuff. (So that's pretty neutral colors too.)
Lol, I've heard stories about seeing movement. I guess we'll find out when it comes to that point. THough one day I'm SURE I saw something because it was a hard one.
Pooh is awesome. The baby has some Pooh stuff as it was given to her by Sam's friend, who's child has outgrown the baby stage, LOL.
Speaking of bears though, Sam and I got the baby her first real teddy bear today. We stopped into the Wacky Bear shop (just like Build A Bear) and built the teddy bear. It was so fun ... and I can't wait until Sage is old enough to do it herself! I'm sure you can't wait to do all of that yourself too. :) (Even though I cheated and started buying the baby stuff when Sam was only 5 months *g*.)
Oh yeah. Sam's stomach was ... weird looking at times ... *shakes head*.
