Bed rest here we go

Well, I was on bed rest most of yesterday and all of today so far. Only 8 weeks or so to go...I'm assuming they will keep me on bed rest, but I'm not certain on that. I'll know more Monday when I go to Albany. My mother is coming up Tuesday from Florida because things are looking like they are going to get hot from here. Of course, I could lay ( Read more... )

You could always take up reading Dykes To Watch Out For. In the latest published book, Invasion of the Dykes To Watch Out For, one of the characters, Sparrow, is pregnant and has to go on bed rest. But of course, to understand who Sparrow is and how she got to be where she is, you'd have to read the whole series, which would entertain you for weeks! I heartily recommend it.

Ah yeah, books. I have started reading two of the series that we have here: The Ocean World of Jacques Cousteau and a Time Life series on Ancient Civilizations. After that, I have craft books I can read and maybe learn a craft or two. I can try my hand at knitting again! Keep these arms doing something at least. And Rhonda has already pushed that I write a fanfiction, which I haven't done in ages, so I'm thinking up something.

Thanks for the suggestion!

Good news on the insurance front. That's great.

Now you rest, try not to stress out, and let your mother pamper you when she gets there.

Pamper might not be the word for it! She'll feed me and what not, no doubt there, but I KNOW she is going to be busy-body organizer at least initially. Which we NEED. I'll probably lay here and tell her, "Yes you can throw that out...etc etc."

Still, if it'll keep these kiddies in for 4,6, or even 8 or 10 weeks that would be worth it! Milestone 32 weeks is 4 from Tuesday, milestone 34 is 6 weeks. I would be superbly happy with the latter! Eight gets us to what Julia Roberts had her twins at -- 36 weeks.
