1. Wash funnel 2x w/ autoclaved H2O. Wash 1x w/ 70% alcohol.

2. Dip tweezers in 70% alcohol and flame-sterilize. Get membrane filter and put in funnel.

3. Filter the extracts and alcohol lamp flame.
