to celebrate, i went to the bookstore and got myself the entire set of chronicles of narnia. and this cookbook which was super marked down for my mom.

watched phantom of the opera at eastwood cinemas with my parents. it was okay, although i found it a little slow-paced. but then again, i think most operas are. it must have been a pretty decent adaptation, though, because my mom said she had fun. she was able to see the original one in canada.
