Song

Does anyone know the name of the song I'm thinking of?

The chorus goes: La da de La da da La da de La da deda.  And then they talk in some other language (German or Russian).  It's sung by women.  We used to roll to it in the dojo and Sensei Rebecca hates that song.

It has a fast tempo (perfect for ukemi!).

song, dojo

The only thing I'm thinking of is "Be My Lover" by La Bouche, but that's not in German or Russian.

That's La da da de da da da da...
this is La da de la da da la da de la da deda

Not to be confused with the song Gypsy Woman from the 90s
which is also La da de, la da da, la da de, la da da

I'm sure it is on the iPod at the dojo

I was thinking of Dragostea Din Tei by Ozone... who are neither German, Russian nor women...

And apparently it's:

Mai-ia-hii
Mai-ia-huu
Mai-ia-hoo
Mai-ia-ha-ha

and not la da de - but whatever - it was stuck in my head and I hadn't heard it in years! Apparently singing it to Matt works better than typing it to everyone else :-p

Is this the same song that guy has the you-tube video singing in front of his computer?
