Maybe...you should send him an email before you go so you wont have to see his answer for a while. If he's such a nice guy [which he most difinitely is], he wont go telling everyone such a personal thing and I doubt he'd throw it back in your face...he's just not like that. You've known each other for a long time, and I don't think he'd have a problem with it. You wouldn't even need to tell him outright, just say what you think of him, that he's really nice and you love this and that about him. It's not like when you're over at the island you'll be seeing him everyday heh. And besides, he gave us all letters saying nice things about us so it could pass as one of those.
