Last night was the last regular session of the photography class I've been taking.  That meant our term project, a portfolio of ten images, was due by the end of class.  During last week's class, the instructor showed us how to cut mat boards for our photos if we wanted to present them in a photo box.  Dealing with the mats looked like it would be ( Read more... )

Ooooo...Very pretty.

I'm hoping to find the time and money in the forseeable future to buy a digital SLR and take a decent photography class. Your work inspires me. :)

Thank you. I'm glad you like the pictures.

If you get a camera, I'd recommend allocating some time to spend with it. Nothing makes you a better photographer than taking lots and lots of pictures. Of course, having a critical eye (and friends/instructors with critical eyes) helps, too. And digital is great since the cost of taking ten pictures is (roughly) the same as taking one.
