Oh boy did the costuming bug bite me hard this morning. Here I am, packing for England and Scotland since I'm leaving TOMORROW. And I check the fansforchrist website to see what everybody's up to. And they have more postings about that steampunk superhero group they're getting together for Dragon*Con. I've been kind of watching it from far off

Very interesting combo. Steampunk/Victorian era Supergirl - "The Maid of Steel". I like it. AS for the cape RRH length might be physically cooler, but the ankle length Opera cape will allow you to be more dramatic in pics.

And the '80s Supergirl movie with Helen Slater was good. I own a copy. BTW, did you know that Helen is a guest this year at D*C? (*Squeee for me*)
