4 days of camp left, and I am a bad counselor

Today, the weather channel says it is "87 degrees...feels like 97". The sky looks like a bucket of dirty wash water. I'm wearing my heavy Pirates shirt and felt sticky and like I was dying all day. We were in South Park all day, so no relief from the heat (Jason, my unit director who we saw at the concert on Friday, said they left 5 minutes into

Oh, me too. But none of those things sound like your fault. I'm REALLY a bad counselor, because one of my kids is always supposed to wear his shirt outside (so he doesn't get skin cancer) and I let him take it off today because he was going to get it wet and wouldn't want to wear it, then his mom came up and told off my co-counselor. So I'm a much worse counselor than you are!

I always when I'm gonna' get fired for showing the kids that camp has left me alittle jaded. =)

Gwen, I'm sure you're not a bad counselor. The kids love you, and it's not your fault that it was hot outside and they were whiny. Hahah, whenever my kids would ask me if they could go do somethign I'd tell them to ask a responsible counselor (ie. anyone but me and Guzzie) because I'd always just be like "Sure, just make sure you don't get hurt..."
