Hey! I've missed you - was wondering where you were. I'm so glad that the CLE was good. And, FWIW, you are extremely intelligent and talented and make a fantastic lawyer. I'm just saying - if you get to call me on my own stuff, I get to call you on yours. Any thoughts you have about not having the capability to practice law are completely false.

Perhaps you can get CLE credit in NY for counseling the elderly, etc., but the broad statement you made is not true. There is not CLE requirement in MA, so there is no such thing as CLE credit here.

One attorney to another, there are a few other such misstatements on the live journal you pointed me to - you might want to watch that sort of thing. Or not. It's not like the folks underwriting your PL insurance are going to look at LJ's, so it's not really going to have RL ramifications, I suppose. (Now I'm wondering if PL applications vary from state to state, just as the bar apps do. Apps in Massachusetts involve questions about docketing software, etc.)
