I swam 64 laps tonight. I think I'm ready. No more training.

I just swam 40 laps nonstop at the pool tonight. It was the first time. There were three other people in the lane so I had to circle without stopping. A month ago I didn't know how to swim and couldn't swim a lap without stopping. Now I can. I'm not to old for this sh*t! Wuhu!

I swam 32 laps last night in about half an hour. 12 were consecutive without stopping. That's pretty good considering it used to take me an hour to do that a few weeks ago ( Read more... )

I left work yesterday because the office lost its power. A storm messed everything up in Rockville. I went home and Gina told me the appliances in the kitchen weren't working. Kimani has box seats at Camden Yards tonight. Wuhu! Not that I care about baseball or anything but I love hanging out at the stadium and eating junk food. Lisa couldn't go because her parents are in town. Emily is going though. She loves the Yankees being from Upstate New York and all. I'm waiting for today to end.

I'm tired. I just did 33 laps at the pool with a kickboard and then ran three miles.

When I came home this evening a wolf/dog was in the backyard. He came to the front door and started to bark. Very strange.
