Post-holiday...something or other

The holidays are over, and my job has graciously given me shitty hours these last couple of weeks in the lag between the after-holiday sale and the spring catalog. Today I have the day off, despite it being a perfectly good Monday, which everyone knows is the day God said "go to work!" And there was work. And it wasn't so good, but we made money.

Oh, Mattie - I love that painting. The mood of it is marvelous.

I can't wait to get a job I like, too. That's why I'm committed to the next two years of school.

I keep saying i'll go back to school "as soon as..." but the list of things I need to pay for after the "..." is very, very long. So for now I'm just trying for an unglorious job that isn't miserable. Hopefully interviewing with Trader Joe's next week.
