1. You write a mean Cajun musician. 2. I get hints of Little John from you. George Thorogood's music. Fiddler's Green from the Sabdman comics. 3. Hm, how about granola! It's tasty. 4. Oh, man, this one is hard. I could mention your maggots dream, but everyone who reads your livejournal knows that. I admit I'm stumped. 5. There was this one time when I was hanging out with you on .... jeez, I think it was furry muck. And everyone was having a picnic, and our characters were just shooting the shit and relaxing ... that was a lot of fun, just comfortable and warm. 6. You're inextricably linked with black bear in my head, now. 7. What's one of your greatest regrets in life?
1. Your beard comes in reddish and it's all scratchy the day after you shave. 2. "Separate Ways" by Journey, Sneakers, the artsy girl/bike messenger in Idoru, David in Strangers In Paradise. 3. Maybe canola oil. 4. Cassandria ... 5. This is always hard to narrow down. I think, when it was just us at Norwescon, what, one or two years ago? And we had just seen Jeff Minter (is that his name?), and you started talking to me about what you wanted to do with the game, with the company, with your art, all that, and we were just involved in this deep discussion ... that was a really good moment. 6. Stork for looks, though I'm sure Andy could come up with a far more specific type and stuff. That kind of long, elegant dog with silky hair. 7. Did you ever think about me much when you were with Kristen?
1. You have about the most gorgeous eyes ever. 2. Nights In White Satin, TI, of course, Jack Black, and Vetinari in the Discworld books. 3. Nothing sticky ... the inky sea! 4. A bird in the hand is worth two in Eunice. 5. Again, this is picking one from quite a few. I was tempted to say playing System Shock with you, but I'll pick a college one instead. Remember when we used to take that psych class together, and we drew all the little skull guys doing stupid stuff and laugh about it for days? Yep. 6. I'm sorry, Andy, but you're a cat. Moody, snooty sometimes, but completely cuddly and lazy other times. Weird cleanliness issues. 7. Were there ever any times when you were sorry you were with me?
Before we had a name for what I have and I would sit up at night, rocking back and forth muttering meaningless number progressions because I knew it was pointless to resist doing it because there would be no sleep otherwise. During times like that I couldn't help but wish I was alone, because it wasn't fair that you'd have to deal with the inevitable bullshit that was going to come up tomorrow.
1. You are prettiest in dark blue, like that sun dress. <3 2. "My Evil Genius", the Exies, Ani Difranco, Elphaba, Snape, Eskarina from Equal Rites by Terry Pratchett. 3. No mayo! How about ice cream? 4. Not the pork, the chicken. I like the chicken. Don't eat all the fortune cookies. 5. Hard, hard, hard. I really liked sitting in the porch swing with you up in Mike's cabin. That whole weekend was pretty damn beautiful. Though the night of Jeb the vampire ranks pretty high up there. 6. Gladiolas, I think. Because they're tall and beautiful, kind of stately, while still being friendly, if that makes any sense. I love to look at them. 7. What is one thing you like about being a flesh and blood person, as opposed to a perfect robot?
Trust you to pick music and books I've never heard or read. Ha ha, Snape is the Wicked Witch, I knew it.
No werewolf cooties! But I'm glad you like Jeb.
One thing? Relief. Like... the ability to have a really good, solid cry even though I hate crying and hate it when people see me do it. I like the fact that I can laugh until I have to pee and occasionally hyperventalite -- heck, even those times where you really need to pee and finally get to. I like the comfort of falling asleep next to another person from complete and utter exhaustion. That sort of thing.
You have to admit that perfect robot!me would still be useful to have around. ^_~
1. You get insomnia. 2. Well, Hoggle, duh. Faeries in general, and Labyrinth. 3. Pixie dust! Or pixie stick dust, one of the two. 4. Meow, kitty-cat. 5. Probably when we first played Aurelia/Seamus, because it was so damn funny. 6. Venus fly-trap! I could totally analyze this? But it was pretty much what popped into my head first, so I'll go with it. 7. What's your favorite thing about roleplaying?
1. *l* Yes, yes I do. Not anymore though, man, I can't afford to. I've been going to sleep between 8pm and 10pm every night. It feels...surreal. O_O 2. Yay Labyrinth! :D I watched that last night. It was wonderful. Did you know that during the ball scene, when that one woman in man's clothing whispers to Jareth, she's saying "She's too young for you?" I just discovered that. It's COOL. 3. Piiiiiixie duuuuuuust. *eyes glaze over* o.o 4 & 5. *l* Meow. XD Yes, that really was hilarious. Too bad all of my RP logs are saved on my home computer. It's fun to go back and read those again. Dude, when I get internet access in my home again and I start up that damn game, you should totally play Seamus again. He was great. 6. Venus fly trap?.....tehe. I like that. It's fitting, somehow. >.> 7. The characters. I like to interact with the different personalities people create -- I have more fun doing that than going through with actual plot sometimes. Quirky characters are great because you never know what to expect from them.
