Attempting to distract myself today... from thinking far too much about missing my brother Mikey, and wishing I had more close friends around here. Such things will get better in time. I grew up in a house where my mother transitioned from being a RN to a holistic practitioner. This gave me a good foundation for understanding alternatives to harder, allopathic medicines. In the end, I still formed a lot of my own opinions, and feel somewhere balanced in the middle: chemical pharma and hospitals are really good at keeping you from dying, and herbal medicine is really good at keeping you healthy ( ... )
