I loved this movie! I never read the book so maybe someone who read the book and saw the movie can comment as to how faithful the movie was. If you haven't heard of it, it's about three women in Jackson, Mississippi in the 1960s. I want to see this movie. But just from the previews, the main white character's hairstyle makes me insane. Nobody had hair like that in the '60s.

*yes, I am a little OCD on hairstyle authenticity. My all-time hit list includes Robert Redford as a prison convict with a $200 haircut.

Hahaha. Well, her hair changes at least once into something more time appropriate. She also gets a little bit of grief from her mother over the hair. Go see it!!!
