-when I wrote this fic, I read somewhere that Inoo have a little sister's name is Keiri and she was born on April 2006.. but Keiri-chan doesn't really exist, just a rumor... but oh wells, she exists here in my story.

Ryosuke was pacing in front of her house.
He was waiting for the perfect moment.
He was getting anxious.
And then, it came.
"I like you!" he said as she opened the front door and then he ran away.
Mariya was left looking at Ryosuke's back.

Mirai's phone rang. She looked at the caller's name and saw that it was her best friend.
"Hel--"
"I did it! I confessed!" Ryosuke shouted from the other line.
"You did?! What did she say???" Shida replied, excitement in her voice.
"She didn't. I ran for it."
"Idiot! How can you run?! Go back and talk to her!" Mirai scolded.
"No way. I can't do that! That's embarrassing! I'll just meet her tomorrow at school or something!"
"You're really an idiot!"
"But you still love me,"
"I'm actually wondering why..." Mirai sighed. "Suit yourself. Call me at once when you know her answer, kay? I want to be the first to know."
"Sure. Oh and Mirai. Today's your second monthsary, right? Congratulations!" Ryosuke said. Mirai beamed.
"Yeah, I'm glad you remembered! I'm actually meeting with him right now."
"Oh, then I won't hold you up too long. Bye, Mirai!"
"Okay, call me alright?"
"Kay, Ja!"

"Who was that?" someone from Mirai's back said.
"Oh, you're here. It was Ryo-chan. He finally confessed to Mariya!"
"That's great." Ryunosuke smiled. He sat next to Mirai.
"By the way Mirai, I want to tell you something."
"Okay, what is it?"
But before Ryunosuke could say a word, Mirai's phone rang again.
"Sorry, can I get that?"
"Sure."
Mirai answered her phone, "Hello?"
"MIRAI-CHAN!!!"
"Suzu-chan! Are you okay??"
"No I'm not! Can you meet me, please?" Suzuka sounded hoarse. Has she been crying?
"Right now? Suzu-chan, it's our monthsary and--"
"Forget it then. I forgot you've got a love life unlike me... Waah!!"
"Suzu-chan." Mirai sighed. She looked at Ryunosuke.
He smiled, nodded and mouthed, "Go."
Mirai mouthed a thank you then went back to Suzuka to tell her she's coming.
She ended the call and faced Ryunosuke.
"I think I can be a bit late, what is it you want to tell me?"
There was a pause Ryunosuke seems to be contemplating on something and then he said, "Happy Second Monthsary."
Mirai beamed. "Happy Monthsary, too." She said, and then hugged him.
Ryunosuke pulled back. "Go, don't make Suzuka-chan wait too long." He said.
Mirai pecked him on the lips. "I'm really sorry. Thank you. Bye. Love you!" She said the last words as she was already running.
Ryunosuke just smiled and waved back.

"Kay, Ja!" Ryosuke put back his phone after his conversation with his best friend, Mirai.
But then he remembered he have to call Yuri so he took it out again. But before he could dial Yuri's number, someone called his name.
"Ryosuke-kun!" Mariya called from his back.
"Ma-mariya-chan." Ryosuke stammered.
"Ryosuke-kun!" She said with a gasp, when she was finally in front of him.
"About you said, I" She turned red, "I-I like..."
"Y-you like me, too?" Ryosuke asked, hopeful.
"I do--"
"Yatta!" Ryosuke beamed. "Thank you, Mariya-chan! You've made me the happiest!"
She smiled uncertainly. “Ryosuke…”
“Really, thank you.” Ryosuke said. "But I'm sorry Mariya-chan, I have to go to work now. Maybe I'll see you later, okay?”
Mariya didn’t say anything for a few seconds and then, just nodded.
Ryosuke beamed. He started running again, he took out his phone dialed Mirai's number again but he was sent to voicemail. He didn't let this dampen him.
'Guess what, Mirai???? SHE SAID YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" He shouted, a few bystander looking at him. He didn't care. He wasn't holding back today.
He dialed Yuri's number next and waited for him to answer.

Yuri was in a restaurant with his girlfriend, Umika when Yuri's phone rang.
"I'm sorry Umika-chan." They were doing their homework. They always do their homework together since they started going out. Now it has become a routine for them.
Umika smiled and shook her head. "Don't worry about it. Go on, answer it."
Yuri sighed when he saw the caller's name. 'Yama-chan, I forgot I'm meeting with him today.'
"Hello?"
"Chii!!! She said yes!!!" Yuri took the phone away from his ear. When he felt it was safe, he put it back on his ears and said, "What?"
"Mariya!!! I confessed to her! She said yes!!!!!" Yuri had to withdraw his phone again.
"Oh, okay." He answered.
"Where are you now?"
"At Koshihori Cafe."
"Oh, goodie. I'm right in front." Yuri sighed again. So much for his alone time with Umika.
He hang up and turned to Umika. "Umika-chan, I'm sorry but I forgot we've got practice today."
"Oh." Umika just said; a little surprised. She was looking forward to spending the day with Yuri today but of course he can't ignore his responsibilities as an idol.
She could understand, she was also an idol after all.
"That's fine, Yuri-kun. We're almost finished, anyway." She said smiling at Yuri. She knew Yuri didn't want to go, too.
"I'm sorry." Yuri said but before Umika could reply, Yamada burst in, bouncing.
"There you are, Chii. Come on, we're gonna be late."
He was louder than normal.
"Fine." Yuri sighed and stood up.
"I'm sorry again, Umika-chan." He said then leaned in and kissed her.
Umika sighed when they were gone...
"I'm alone now."
"You want some company?" A voice from her back said.
"Irie-kun!"

When Ryosuke and Yuri arrived at HQ, Yuto was already there. He was talking with Raiya.
"Oh, Ryosuke, Chihiro-neechan called! Said something about Ku and Cookie."
"Oh God, I forgot, they have their appointment to the vet today." Ryosuke sighed. "I think she'll manage for today."
"She said to tell you to call her." Yuto continued.
"I will. Thanks."
"Nii-chan! Tell me now! How do you know when you're in love?" Raiya tugged on Yuto's shirt.
"Well, you always want to see that person."
"And if you see her your heart beats fast?"
"Yes. And you want to make her happy. Why are you asking these things? You're seven years old."
"I don't want to be stupid like Nii-chan when it comes to love." Raiya answered as if stating a fact.
"Where did you get that from?!" Yuto said not amused.
"Ryuu-nii." he said
"Ryutaro!! Don't corrupt my brother!"
"I don't need to. He's already corrupted." Ryutaro replied from the other side of the room.
The door opened again and Kei came in holding a little girl.
He went straight to their choreographer. "I'm really sorry but no one’s home and I just can't leave her there alone." He explained.
"It's fine as long as she won’t interrupt practice." Their choreographer said.
Kei sighed, relieved.
"Hey there, Keiri-chan." Raiya said. They've been together with other Hey! Say! JUMP families on many occasions.
"Raiya-chan." She smiled.
"Raiya, you're here. Will you stay?" Kei asked Raiya.
"Maybe." He said
"Then can you accompany Keiri-chan when we start practicing?"
"Sure."
"Everyone!" Their choreographer called.
"Thanks Raiya." Kei said and rushed to the group.
The door opened again and Yabu burst in. He noticed the two kids.
“Keiri-chan, do you think I can come to Nii-chan’s school with him?” Yabu heard Raiya asked Keiri.
He ruffled Raiya’s hair. “Sorry, Raiya-kun but Horikoshi is strict, I don’t think you can come. Hi Keiri-chan," He said
"Yabu!" called their choreographer.
"I'm coming!"

"You came!" Suzuka said when she saw Mirai.
"Of course, Suzu-chan. What happened? Are you okay?"
"No!! Mirai-chan!! I'm so lonely!! Why don't I have a boyfriend?!"
Mirai’s phone rang. And she saw that it was Ryosuke. She listened to his voicemail and squealed.
“Ryosuke and Mariya are going out!” She said.
“See!? I’m the only one left!!!”
Mirai sighed. She sent a quick mail to Ryosuke telling him she was in Horikoshi and about Suzuka.
This is gonna be another long session of Suzu-chan's whining.

Chihiro sighed. How was she supposed to bring Ku and Cookie to the vet if they didn't like her?? She tries, she really do. She loves their pets but they just didn't love her back. Why is she cursed?! And to have a brother like Ryosuke!!!! She sighed again.

Umika was laughing hard. Irie-kun was unexpectedly so much fun to chat with. They never really talk much at school. It was always about school stuffs. But now that they could relax like this, she realized he is cool and fun.
Umika glanced at her clock and realize that Chine’s practice will soon be over. Knowing that Chinen would likely go to her place right after practice, she took out her phone and mailed Chinen.
"Irie-kun, thank you for the company but I have to go home now." She said to Irie.
"Ah, okay. I'll walk you home."

The practice was over and everyone seems to look forward to go home and rest. Chinen felt sorry for BEST cause they still have something left to do.
Chinen took out her phone and saw that Umika mailed him.
'Almost home.' She said. Chinen smiled. He would go to her place first before going home.
"Yatta!" Yama-chan shouted from Chinen's right 'I'll go to Zunija's Restaurant. Mariya wants to meet me there." He said and ran out.
"Oh damn." Yuto on the other hand seems to have received bad news "I forgot I left prefect duties at school!" He said
"Now I have to go back to school. Yuto no baka baka baka." He said pounding his head on the wall.

Suzuka was also pounding her head on the wall.
“Suzu-chan, why are you like this? It’s not a big deal to be single.”
“You don’t understand, you have Ryunosuke-kun.” She said.
“I have no one. I’ll be single forever!”
“Don’t be dramatic! We’re so young!”
“No, I just know I’ll be an old lady all alone!”
Mirai sighed. Her phone rang again and she answered.
It was her manager, she was being ordered to go to HQ. Because it’s work, she can’t really say no.
“I’m sorry, Suzu-chan. Manager-san called and said I have to go to HQ. I hope you understand.
Suzuka pouted but she knew she have to go.
“I’m sorry.” Mirai repeated and then hugged her friend. “I’ll be back soon, I promise.”

Yuto was walking by Zunija’s but didn’t notice that Ryosuke was inside the Flower Shop on its right or that Raiya was following him.

Ryosuke was thinking of flower to buy Mariya when the florist approached him.
“Can I help you?” The old lady asked.
“I was wondering what I could give to my girlfriend. We just started going out.” Ryosuke explained.
“Oh my, how romantic.” The old woman smiled at Ryosuke. “How about a white carnation, then? It would be more appropriate if it’s red but I’m afraid we’re out of those for today.”
“What does white carnation means?”
“Sweet and lovely.”
Ryosuke beamed. “Then it fits her. I’ll take a bouquet then.”
The florist prepared the flower and then gave it to Ryosuke. After paying, he went to Zunija’s.
He saved a table for them and hid the flower.
That’s when he saw him. Kamiki was laughing at the table on the other side of the restaurant... but he was not with Mirai, he was with Mayuko.

Raiya noticed Ryosuke when he was following Yuto. He stopped and went inside the flower shop when Ryosuke came out.
“I’m sorry little boy, but we’re closing now.” The old florist said to Raiya.
“Oh.” He said, disappointed. “Okay...” He went out and tried to run after his brother again.

When Yuto entered Horikoshi, he was startled to see that the lights were opened in the music room. He checked it out to find that Suzuka was there.
“Ohgo-san?” He called.
She looked up.
“Nakajima-kun...” She said and then she burst crying.
“Are you alright?”
“I’m not but then” She sniff “left me. Even if I’m not alright! Why did I have to go through this?! I’m a celebrity!! Why?!”
Yuto crouched beside her and she cried on his shirt. “Why?!?!!!”
Yuto didn’t know what was wrong but he still said soothing words, “It’s gonna be fine. Don’t worry about it.” He said as Suzuka silently cried.
Yuto thought this was more important than some prefect duties. This was Suzuka. Suzuka he’d always watched. Suzuka he’d always like. He wouldn’t forgive the one who hurt her!

Chihiro got tired of waiting for his brother and so she went to their HQ. The vet clinic would close soon. When she got there, she found Keiri-chan.
“Keiri-chan where is everyone?” She asked.
“Nii-chan still has something to record with Nii-chan-tachi. Raiya-chan left earlier.”
“What about Ryosuke-nii?”
“He left, too.” Chihiro sighed. Could they have missed each other?
She went out the HQ again.

Mirai was already in front of Ken-on HQ when she realized she left her purse.
“Oh jeez. Jisan, can we go back to Horikoshi?” She asked the cab driver.

“Right here is fine.” Umika said to Irie-kun when they were in front of her house.
“Thank you for today, I had fun.” Umika said.
“Yeah, me too.” He smiled at her.
“You knew I was feeling lonely didn’t you? Thank you for accompanying me. I’m fine now.” Umika said and then he gave Irie a friendly hug.
But both were startled when a green missile flew straight at Irie.
“Yuri!” Umika called when he realized it was Yuri who tackled Irie.
“Stop it!” She pulled Yuri away from Irie and helped Irie to his feet.
But this enraged Yuri more and then he shouted at Umika, “I should have never gone out with you!!”
And then he left.
Umika cried. Irie didn’t know what to do. He didn’t want anything like this to happen.
“Thanks for walking me home, Irie-kun.”
“Kawashima-san, I’m sorr-“
“You didn’t do anything wrong.” She said and then she went inside their house.

Ryosuke didn’t know if he should tell Mirai or not. But he shoved the thought first when he saw Mariya arrive.
“Ryosuke-kun.” She said.
“Mariya.” Ryosuke smiled and handed her the flowers.
But she didn’t take it.
“I’m so sorry, Ryosuke.”
“Huh? Why?”
“I didn’t know how to tell you earlier because you were so happy but...” She looked at the flowers.
“This is beautiful but it’s not for me. I’m sorry Ryosuke-kun but I already like someone.” She said then she stood up.
She bowed, “I’m really sorry.” Then she left.
He felt numb. It was kinda funny how earlier he was so happy and now he just felt numb.
That’s when Ryosuke thought, ‘I don’t want Mirai to feel this way.’
She was kind, sweet, she was pure. There was no way he was going to let any jerk hurt her!
He took out his phone and called her but she wasn’t answering.
He went out, intending to go to Horikoshi since that’s where she said she were last.
When he got there, he found Raiya by the gates.
“What are you doing here?”
“I just wanted to go here. I wanted to see someone I like but I didn’t get to buy her a gift.” Only then did Ryosuke realize that he was holding onto the bouquet.
“Here.” He said, and he gave Raiya the flowers without hesitation.
He then entered Horikoshi and went straight to their classroom but no one was there. He left their building intending to search for Mirai in the library since Mirai was always hanging out there.

The music room’s door burst open and Irie arrived.
“Suzu-chan!” Irie’s first thought after the whole UmiChii-debacle was to run to her pseudo-sister, Suzuka.
But he didn’t think Yuto would be with her.
Once Suzuka glimpsed Jingi’s injury, her maternal instinct took over.
“Jingi! What happened to you?! Are you okay?! Does it hurt?” She said looking closely at his wound. She didn’t notice that Yuto was glaring at Jingi.
‘So he’s the one who made her cry?!’ Yuto thought furiously.

Chinen went back to HQ. He was fuming. He couldn’t believe she did that.
But when he entered, he was pulled by Inoo and was told to watch Keiri-chan for the meantime while they record Inoo’s piano.
He didn’t really have much choice so he just asked her, “Okay, Keiri-chan, what do you want to do?”
“Let’s watch Shrek 4.” She said. Chinen thought Inoo’s were really intelligent.
“Okay then.”
They went to the lounge and watch there.

Mirai opened the door to their classroom and went to her seat. Under her table was her purse.
She was startled when someone knocked.
“Raiya-kun! What are you doing here?”
“I wanted to give you this.” He said and then passed Mirai the flowers.
“Thank you.” Mirai said, blinking. “But why?”
“I like you, Mirai-san.” Raiya said unabashed.
“That’s so sweet.” She answered and beamed at Raiya.
She squatted to look at him eye to eye, “But are you sure this is for me?”
“Nii-chan said that you like someone when your heart beats fast and when you want to see her happy. I’m like that with you.” Raiya said.
Mirai hugged him. “Thank you so much Raiya-kun but I don’t think I’m the one you should be giving this, too.”
“You don’t like me?” He asked, sounding just curious.
“I do. But not like that. And I’m too old for you.” She said gently.
“Okay.” Raiya said.
There was another knock and Mirai saw Ryosuke by the door.
“Mirai, can we talk?” Ryosuke asked.
Mirai was surprised to see him but nevertheless said, “Sure.”
“I’ll go now.” Raiya said.
“Do you know how to go back home?” Ryosuke asked him. “Wait, why are you here?”
“I’ll go back to HQ. Nii-chan thinks I’m there.” Raiya said without answering Ryosuke’s second question, and he went.
“What is it Ryo-chan?” Mirai asked Ryosuke. She knew it was important from the look on his face.
“Kamiki. He’s cheating on you.” He said frankly.
There was a pause then Mirai laughed.
“What are you talking about Ryo-chan?”
“I’m serious, Mirai. I saw him with Mayuko.” Ryosuke said.
“No, you’re kidding me. There’s no way Ryunosuke would do that.” Mirai said, smiling though it doesn’t quite reach her eyes.
“Mirai. I saw him. Them! They were in Zunija’s! We can come now if you want!” Ryosuke said, hating that he was hurting her right now, but knowing it could be worst still if he didn’t do this.
“I don’t believe you! You were always talking me out of my boyfriends! The same happened with Miura and Kanata! Why are you always doing this to me?!” Mirai asked, now angry.
“This is different Mirai!” Ryosuke tried to say.
“Don’t you want me happy?! You have Mariya, why can’t I be with Ryunosuke?!”
“I don’t want you to get hurt! Mariya left me okay?! I’m the biggest fool! She didn’t like me!”
Mirai stopped in her tracks.
“I-I’m sorry Ryo-chan. But just because she left you doesn’t mean I have to leave Ryunosuke, too!” She said, though sounding half-hearted.
“You know I’m telling the truth.” Ryosuke said softly.
“No...” Mirai said stubbornly.
“Mirai, please just... let’s just go to Zunija’s to be sure, okay?”
Mirai hesitantly nodded.

“He’s the one?!” Yuto exploded.
“Ohgo-san, why are you still caring for this idiot?! He hurt you! Why are you still pinning for him?!”
Suzuka was confused and so was Irie. Yuto was so angry he was turning red.
He made to jump at Irie but Suzuka blocked.
“Jingi, please go for now.” She said. Irie didn’t need to hear it twice.
“Nakajima-kun, what’s the problem?”
“You’re the problem! Why are you still holding on to him after he hurt you so much! He left you right?! And now he’s running back to you now that he’s in a pinch?! You don’t deserve him! You deserved better! “
“What are you talking about?”
“Suzuka, I like you!”
Suzuka’s eyes widen.
“Y-you like me?”
Yuto didn't answer. He just kissed her.

Chihiro entered Horikoshi High School and went straight to her brother’s classroom.
She found no one there. She sighed. Where was her brother?
She glanced at the clock and sighed again. ‘Never mind. Clinic’s close now. We’ll just have to make another appointment.’
She exited the classroom and bumped into someone.
“Sorry.” The tall boy said.
“You... You’re Irie-kun right?”
“Yamada-san.” Irie said recognizing her from their last visit to Yamada home.
“Are you okay? That looks like it hurts.” She pointed at his swelling cheek.
“I’m fine.”
“No, you’re not. Where’s your infirmary? I’ll help you fix that.” She said.
Irie didn’t know how to react so he just led the way to the infirmary.
She didn’t help him. She did the entire job.
He thanked her. She was really nice. But he remembered Chinen and Nakajima. No. She was definitely off-limits. He didn’t want another JUMP jumping at him.

Ryosuke and Mirai entered the restaurant.
Ryosuke thought he would definitely look like a fool because he was sure they wouldn’t be there anymore. But they still were.
“No...” He heard Mirai said.
“No...” She said more firmly. “They’re just talking.”
But Ryosuke knew she was only saying that. They approached them and she called him, “Ryunosuke-kun?”
“Mirai!” He exclaimed. He looked at her then at Mayuko who was smiling uncertainly.
“Mayuko, can I talk to Mirai for a second?”
“Sure...” She said still ignorant of what was going on.
He stood up and let Mirai outside. Mirai silently followed.
“Ryunosuke-kun?” Mirai asked hesitantly, expecting the worse.
There was a pause, and then Kamiki said, “I’m sorry, Mirai.”
Mirai didn’t reply, still waiting for something. An explanation, a reason. Just more.
“I wanted to tell you this morning but I was a coward. I-I fell out of love.” Kamiki said looking uncertain.
“Is-is she better, then?” She asked.
“No! That’s not it! I-I like you, Mirai, I really do. But I guess I don’t love you anymore. I’m so sorry.” Kamiki said.
“I understand.” But she didn’t.
“G-go back to her now.” She said as she was already leaving.
“Mirai,” Ryunosuke called after her, “I did love you.”
Mirai just smiled sadly at him.
When she was out of his sight, she broke. But someone caught her. Ryosuke.
Ryosuke hugged her and let her cry on him. “I’m so sorry, Mirai.” He whispered.

“Hey there.” Mariya smiled when she heard his voice.
“Hey.” She said.
“What are doing here at this hour?”
“I was actually waiting for my boyfriend.” Mariya said.
“Oh, I won’t bother you then.”
She giggled, “Misaki!”
He laughed and hugged her from the back. “I’ve missed you.”

Keiri fell asleep before Shrek ended but Chinen didn’t noticed because the last scene from the movie made a great impact on him.
‘I made a mistake’ He said and then he stood up and rushed out. He didn’t want to lose Umika.
Umika was still crying when she heard a knock.
“Who is it?” She said trying to sound normal.
But whoever they were didn’t answer. They just continued knocking. “I’m coming.” She called and hurried to the door. She opened it and she saw Shrek holding a sign that says ‘I’m sorry.’
She knew at once that it was Chinen. She was about to close the door but then he said,
“I was an ogre today. I’m so sorry.”
“He was only walking me home.” Umika said.
“I realized that. I’m really sorry. I was stupid.”
“You were.”
“I am. I’m stupid because I turn my back on something as important as love. I’m really sorry, Umika. Will you forgive this stupid ogre?”
She couldn’t help but smile when ‘Shrek’ kneeled in front of her.
“I can’t forgive this stupid ogre.” She said and Yuri couldn’t look at her.
“But I want my stupid Yuri back.”
Yuri stood up, removed the mask and hugged her.
Umika giggled, “My ogre turned into a prince.”

When Raiya returned to the HQ, he saw Keiri sleeping on the couch. He approached her.
“Keiri-chan?” He poked.
“Raiya-chan” She sat up sleepily.
“You’re still here?”
“Nii-chan isn’t finished with work.”
“Oh. Do you want flowers?” He asked.
“I like them!” Keiri said.
“Here.” Raiya passed the bouquet to Keiri.
“Thank you.” She smiled at him.
“Mirai-san said she was too old but you’re younger so I guess you would be fine. I like you, too and I want you to be happy.”

Inoo and Yabu witnessed the whole thing.
“Cute.” He said.
Yabu smiled.
“But I feel like I’m getting older. My four years old sister already received a confession. I feel so lonely.”
Yabu raised an eyebrow at him. Inoo laughed
“Well,” Inoo said. “I guess can’t really complain about feeling alone.”
Yabu put his arms on Inoo’s shoulders.

Mirai giggled in Ryosuke’s arms. “Now I understand why we became best friend. We’re set with the matching fate.”
Ryosuke had to smile. “Yeah, this is a freakishly eventful day. I think I made a new record. I’ve been rejected the same day I was answered.”
“It must suck to be you.” Mirai said, leaning her head on Ryosuke’s shoulder.
“But you’re stuck with me, aren’t you?” He teased.
“I’m glad I am.” She said.
Ryosuke smiled. “Me, too.”
“Ryo-chan, why do you always talk me out of my relationship?” She said remembering their argument earlier.
“I don’t know. Maybe I just think they don’t deserve you.”
“Why?”
They were quiet for a long time.

Ryosuke was pacing in front of her house.
He was waiting for the perfect moment.
He was getting anxious.
And then, it came.
"I like you!" he said as she opened the front door and then he ran away.
Mariya was left looking at Ryosuke's back.

Mirai's phone rang. She looked at the caller's name and saw that it was her best friend.
"Hel--"
"I did it! I confessed!" Ryosuke shouted from the other line.
"You did?! What did she say???" Shida replied, excitement in her voice.
"She didn't. I ran for it."
"Idiot! How can you run?! Go back and talk to her!" Mirai scolded.
"No way. I can't do that! That's embarrassing! I'll just meet her tomorrow at school or something!"
"You're really an idiot!"
"But you still love me,"
"I'm actually wondering why..." Mirai sighed. "Suit yourself. Call me at once when you know her answer, kay? I want to be the first to know."
"Sure. Oh and Mirai. Today's your second monthsary, right? Congratulations!" Ryosuke said. Mirai beamed.
"Yeah, I'm glad you remembered! I'm actually meeting with him right now."
"Oh, then I won't hold you up too long. Bye, Mirai!"
"Okay, call me alright?"
"Kay, Ja!"

"Who was that?" someone from Mirai's back said.
"Oh, you're here. It was Ryo-chan. He finally confessed to Mariya!"
"That's great." Ryunosuke smiled. He sat next to Mirai.
"By the way Mirai, I want to tell you something."
"Okay, what is it?"
But before Ryunosuke could say a word, Mirai's phone rang again.
"Sorry, can I get that?"
"Sure."
Mirai answered her phone, "Hello?"
"MIRAI-CHAN!!!"
"Suzu-chan! Are you okay??"
"No I'm not! Can you meet me, please?" Suzuka sounded hoarse. Has she been crying?
"Right now? Suzu-chan, it's our monthsary and--"
"Forget it then. I forgot you've got a love life unlike me... Waah!!"
"Suzu-chan." Mirai sighed. She looked at Ryunosuke.
He smiled, nodded and mouthed, "Go."
Mirai mouthed a thank you then went back to Suzuka to tell her she's coming.
She ended the call and faced Ryunosuke.
"I think I can be a bit late, what is it you want to tell me?"
There was a pause Ryunosuke seems to be contemplating on something and then he said, "Happy Second Monthsary."
Mirai beamed. "Happy Monthsary, too." She said, and then hugged him.
Ryunosuke pulled back. "Go, don't make Suzuka-chan wait too long." He said.
Mirai pecked him on the lips. "I'm really sorry. Thank you. Bye. Love you!" She said the last words as she was already running.
Ryunosuke just smiled and waved back.

"Kay, Ja!" Ryosuke put back his phone after his conversation with his best friend, Mirai.
But then he remembered he have to call Yuri so he took it out again. But before he could dial Yuri's number, someone called his name.
"Ryosuke-kun!" Mariya called from his back.
"Ma-mariya-chan." Ryosuke stammered.
"Ryosuke-kun!" She said with a gasp, when she was finally in front of him.
"About you said, I" She turned red, "I-I like..."
"Y-you like me, too?" Ryosuke asked, hopeful.
"I do--"
"Yatta!" Ryosuke beamed. "Thank you, Mariya-chan! You've made me the happiest!"
She smiled uncertainly. “Ryosuke…”
“Really, thank you.” Ryosuke said. "But I'm sorry Mariya-chan, I have to go to work now. Maybe I'll see you later, okay?”
Mariya didn’t say anything for a few seconds and then, just nodded.
Ryosuke beamed. He started running again, he took out his phone dialed Mirai's number again but he was sent to voicemail. He didn't let this dampen him.
'Guess what, Mirai???? SHE SAID YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" He shouted, a few bystander looking at him. He didn't care. He wasn't holding back today.
He dialed Yuri's number next and waited for him to answer.

Yuri was in a restaurant with his girlfriend, Umika when Yuri's phone rang.
"I'm sorry Umika-chan." They were doing their homework. They always do their homework together since they started going out. Now it has become a routine for them.
Umika smiled and shook her head. "Don't worry about it. Go on, answer it."
Yuri sighed when he saw the caller's name. 'Yama-chan, I forgot I'm meeting with him today.'
"Hello?"
"Chii!!! She said yes!!!" Yuri took the phone away from his ear. When he felt it was safe, he put it back on his ears and said, "What?"
"Mariya!!! I confessed to her! She said yes!!!!!" Yuri had to withdraw his phone again.
"Oh, okay." He answered.
"Where are you now?"
"At Koshihori Cafe."
"Oh, goodie. I'm right in front." Yuri sighed again. So much for his alone time with Umika.
He hang up and turned to Umika. "Umika-chan, I'm sorry but I forgot we've got practice today."
"Oh." Umika just said; a little surprised. She was looking forward to spending the day with Yuri today but of course he can't ignore his responsibilities as an idol.
She could understand, she was also an idol after all.
"That's fine, Yuri-kun. We're almost finished, anyway." She said smiling at Yuri. She knew Yuri didn't want to go, too.
"I'm sorry." Yuri said but before Umika could reply, Yamada burst in, bouncing.
"There you are, Chii. Come on, we're gonna be late."
He was louder than normal.
"Fine." Yuri sighed and stood up.
"I'm sorry again, Umika-chan." He said then leaned in and kissed her.
Umika sighed when they were gone...
"I'm alone now."
"You want some company?" A voice from her back said.
"Irie-kun!"

When Ryosuke and Yuri arrived at HQ, Yuto was already there. He was talking with Raiya.
"Oh, Ryosuke, Chihiro-neechan called! Said something about Ku and Cookie."
"Oh God, I forgot, they have their appointment to the vet today." Ryosuke sighed. "I think she'll manage for today."
"She said to tell you to call her." Yuto continued.
"I will. Thanks."
"Nii-chan! Tell me now! How do you know when you're in love?" Raiya tugged on Yuto's shirt.
"Well, you always want to see that person."
"And if you see her your heart beats fast?"
"Yes. And you want to make her happy. Why are you asking these things? You're seven years old."
"I don't want to be stupid like Nii-chan when it comes to love." Raiya answered as if stating a fact.
"Where did you get that from?!" Yuto said not amused.
"Ryuu-nii." he said
"Ryutaro!! Don't corrupt my brother!"
"I don't need to. He's already corrupted." Ryutaro replied from the other side of the room.
The door opened again and Kei came in holding a little girl.
He went straight to their choreographer. "I'm really sorry but no one’s home and I just can't leave her there alone." He explained.
"It's fine as long as she won’t interrupt practice." Their choreographer said.
Kei sighed, relieved.
"Hey there, Keiri-chan." Raiya said. They've been together with other Hey! Say! JUMP families on many occasions.
"Raiya-chan." She smiled.
"Raiya, you're here. Will you stay?" Kei asked Raiya.
"Maybe." He said
"Then can you accompany Keiri-chan when we start practicing?"
"Sure."
"Everyone!" Their choreographer called.
"Thanks Raiya." Kei said and rushed to the group.
The door opened again and Yabu burst in. He noticed the two kids.
“Keiri-chan, do you think I can come to Nii-chan’s school with him?” Yabu heard Raiya asked Keiri.
He ruffled Raiya’s hair. “Sorry, Raiya-kun but Horikoshi is strict, I don’t think you can come. Hi Keiri-chan," He said
"Yabu!" called their choreographer.
"I'm coming!"

"You came!" Suzuka said when she saw Mirai.
"Of course, Suzu-chan. What happened? Are you okay?"
"No!! Mirai-chan!! I'm so lonely!! Why don't I have a boyfriend?!"
Mirai’s phone rang. And she saw that it was Ryosuke. She listened to his voicemail and squealed.
“Ryosuke and Mariya are going out!” She said.
“See!? I’m the only one left!!!”
Mirai sighed. She sent a quick mail to Ryosuke telling him she was in Horikoshi and about Suzuka.
This is gonna be another long session of Suzu-chan's whining.

Chihiro sighed. How was she supposed to bring Ku and Cookie to the vet if they didn't like her?? She tries, she really do. She loves their pets but they just didn't love her back. Why is she cursed?! And to have a brother like Ryosuke!!!! She sighed again.

Umika was laughing hard. Irie-kun was unexpectedly so much fun to chat with. They never really talk much at school. It was always about school stuffs. But now that they could relax like this, she realized he is cool and fun.
Umika glanced at her clock and realize that Chine’s practice will soon be over. Knowing that Chinen would likely go to her place right after practice, she took out her phone and mailed Chinen.
"Irie-kun, thank you for the company but I have to go home now." She said to Irie.
"Ah, okay. I'll walk you home."

The practice was over and everyone seems to look forward to go home and rest. Chinen felt sorry for BEST cause they still have something left to do.
Chinen took out her phone and saw that Umika mailed him.
'Almost home.' She said. Chinen smiled. He would go to her place first before going home.
"Yatta!" Yama-chan shouted from Chinen's right 'I'll go to Zunija's Restaurant. Mariya wants to meet me there." He said and ran out.
"Oh damn." Yuto on the other hand seems to have received bad news "I forgot I left prefect duties at school!" He said
"Now I have to go back to school. Yuto no baka baka baka." He said pounding his head on the wall.

Suzuka was also pounding her head on the wall.
“Suzu-chan, why are you like this? It’s not a big deal to be single.”
“You don’t understand, you have Ryunosuke-kun.” She said.
“I have no one. I’ll be single forever!”
“Don’t be dramatic! We’re so young!”
“No, I just know I’ll be an old lady all alone!”
Mirai sighed. Her phone rang again and she answered.
It was her manager, she was being ordered to go to HQ. Because it’s work, she can’t really say no.
“I’m sorry, Suzu-chan. Manager-san called and said I have to go to HQ. I hope you understand.
Suzuka pouted but she knew she have to go.
“I’m sorry.” Mirai repeated and then hugged her friend. “I’ll be back soon, I promise.”

Yuto was walking by Zunija’s but didn’t notice that Ryosuke was inside the Flower Shop on its right or that Raiya was following him.

Ryosuke was thinking of flower to buy Mariya when the florist approached him.
“Can I help you?” The old lady asked.
“I was wondering what I could give to my girlfriend. We just started going out.” Ryosuke explained.
“Oh my, how romantic.” The old woman smiled at Ryosuke. “How about a white carnation, then? It would be more appropriate if it’s red but I’m afraid we’re out of those for today.”
“What does white carnation means?”
“Sweet and lovely.”
Ryosuke beamed. “Then it fits her. I’ll take a bouquet then.”
The florist prepared the flower and then gave it to Ryosuke. After paying, he went to Zunija’s.
He saved a table for them and hid the flower.
That’s when he saw him. Kamiki was laughing at the table on the other side of the restaurant... but he was not with Mirai, he was with Mayuko.

Raiya noticed Ryosuke when he was following Yuto. He stopped and went inside the flower shop when Ryosuke came out.
“I’m sorry little boy, but we’re closing now.” The old florist said to Raiya.
“Oh.” He said, disappointed. “Okay...” He went out and tried to run after his brother again.

When Yuto entered Horikoshi, he was startled to see that the lights were opened in the music room. He checked it out to find that Suzuka was there.
“Ohgo-san?” He called.
She looked up.
“Nakajima-kun...” She said and then she burst crying.
“Are you alright?”
“I’m not but then” She sniff “left me. Even if I’m not alright! Why did I have to go through this?! I’m a celebrity!! Why?!”
Yuto crouched beside her and she cried on his shirt. “Why?!?!!!”
Yuto didn’t know what was wrong but he still said soothing words, “It’s gonna be fine. Don’t worry about it.” He said as Suzuka silently cried.
Yuto thought this was more important than some prefect duties. This was Suzuka. Suzuka he’d always watched. Suzuka he’d always like. He wouldn’t forgive the one who hurt her!

Chihiro got tired of waiting for his brother and so she went to their HQ. The vet clinic would close soon. When she got there, she found Keiri-chan.
“Keiri-chan where is everyone?” She asked.
“Nii-chan still has something to record with Nii-chan-tachi. Raiya-chan left earlier.”
“What about Ryosuke-nii?”
“He left, too.” Chihiro sighed. Could they have missed each other?
She went out the HQ again.

Mirai was already in front of Ken-on HQ when she realized she left her purse.
“Oh jeez. Jisan, can we go back to Horikoshi?” She asked the cab driver.

“Right here is fine.” Umika said to Irie-kun when they were in front of her house.
“Thank you for today, I had fun.” Umika said.
“Yeah, me too.” He smiled at her.
“You knew I was feeling lonely didn’t you? Thank you for accompanying me. I’m fine now.” Umika said and then he gave Irie a friendly hug.
But both were startled when a green missile flew straight at Irie.
“Yuri!” Umika called when he realized it was Yuri who tackled Irie.
“Stop it!” She pulled Yuri away from Irie and helped Irie to his feet.
But this enraged Yuri more and then he shouted at Umika, “I should have never gone out with you!!”
And then he left.
Umika cried. Irie didn’t know what to do. He didn’t want anything like this to happen.
“Thanks for walking me home, Irie-kun.”
“Kawashima-san, I’m sorr-“
“You didn’t do anything wrong.” She said and then she went inside their house.

Ryosuke didn’t know if he should tell Mirai or not. But he shoved the thought first when he saw Mariya arrive.
“Ryosuke-kun.” She said.
“Mariya.” Ryosuke smiled and handed her the flowers.
But she didn’t take it.
“I’m so sorry, Ryosuke.”
“Huh? Why?”
“I didn’t know how to tell you earlier because you were so happy but...” She looked at the flowers.
“This is beautiful but it’s not for me. I’m sorry Ryosuke-kun but I already like someone.” She said then she stood up.
She bowed, “I’m really sorry.” Then she left.
He felt numb. It was kinda funny how earlier he was so happy and now he just felt numb.
That’s when Ryosuke thought, ‘I don’t want Mirai to feel this way.’
She was kind, sweet, she was pure. There was no way he was going to let any jerk hurt her!
He took out his phone and called her but she wasn’t answering.
He went out, intending to go to Horikoshi since that’s where she said she were last.
When he got there, he found Raiya by the gates.
“What are you doing here?”
“I just wanted to go here. I wanted to see someone I like but I didn’t get to buy her a gift.” Only then did Ryosuke realize that he was holding onto the bouquet.
“Here.” He said, and he gave Raiya the flowers without hesitation.
He then entered Horikoshi and went straight to their classroom but no one was there. He left their building intending to search for Mirai in the library since Mirai was always hanging out there.

The music room’s door burst open and Irie arrived.
“Suzu-chan!” Irie’s first thought after the whole UmiChii-debacle was to run to her pseudo-sister, Suzuka.
But he didn’t think Yuto would be with her.
Once Suzuka glimpsed Jingi’s injury, her maternal instinct took over.
“Jingi! What happened to you?! Are you okay?! Does it hurt?” She said looking closely at his wound. She didn’t notice that Yuto was glaring at Jingi.
‘So he’s the one who made her cry?!’ Yuto thought furiously.

Chinen went back to HQ. He was fuming. He couldn’t believe she did that.
But when he entered, he was pulled by Inoo and was told to watch Keiri-chan for the meantime while they record Inoo’s piano.
He didn’t really have much choice so he just asked her, “Okay, Keiri-chan, what do you want to do?”
“Let’s watch Shrek 4.” She said. Chinen thought Inoo’s were really intelligent.
“Okay then.”
They went to the lounge and watch there.

Mirai opened the door to their classroom and went to her seat. Under her table was her purse.
She was startled when someone knocked.
“Raiya-kun! What are you doing here?”
“I wanted to give you this.” He said and then passed Mirai the flowers.
“Thank you.” Mirai said, blinking. “But why?”
“I like you, Mirai-san.” Raiya said unabashed.
“That’s so sweet.” She answered and beamed at Raiya.
She squatted to look at him eye to eye, “But are you sure this is for me?”
“Nii-chan said that you like someone when your heart beats fast and when you want to see her happy. I’m like that with you.” Raiya said.
Mirai hugged him. “Thank you so much Raiya-kun but I don’t think I’m the one you should be giving this, too.”
“You don’t like me?” He asked, sounding just curious.
“I do. But not like that. And I’m too old for you.” She said gently.
“Okay.” Raiya said.
There was another knock and Mirai saw Ryosuke by the door.
“Mirai, can we talk?” Ryosuke asked.
Mirai was surprised to see him but nevertheless said, “Sure.”
“I’ll go now.” Raiya said.
“Do you know how to go back home?” Ryosuke asked him. “Wait, why are you here?”
“I’ll go back to HQ. Nii-chan thinks I’m there.” Raiya said without answering Ryosuke’s second question, and he went.
“What is it Ryo-chan?” Mirai asked Ryosuke. She knew it was important from the look on his face.
“Kamiki. He’s cheating on you.” He said frankly.
There was a pause then Mirai laughed.
“What are you talking about Ryo-chan?”
“I’m serious, Mirai. I saw him with Mayuko.” Ryosuke said.
“No, you’re kidding me. There’s no way Ryunosuke would do that.” Mirai said, smiling though it doesn’t quite reach her eyes.
“Mirai. I saw him. Them! They were in Zunija’s! We can come now if you want!” Ryosuke said, hating that he was hurting her right now, but knowing it could be worst still if he didn’t do this.
“I don’t believe you! You were always talking me out of my boyfriends! The same happened with Miura and Kanata! Why are you always doing this to me?!” Mirai asked, now angry.
“This is different Mirai!” Ryosuke tried to say.
“Don’t you want me happy?! You have Mariya, why can’t I be with Ryunosuke?!”
“I don’t want you to get hurt! Mariya left me okay?! I’m the biggest fool! She didn’t like me!”
Mirai stopped in her tracks.
“I-I’m sorry Ryo-chan. But just because she left you doesn’t mean I have to leave Ryunosuke, too!” She said, though sounding half-hearted.
“You know I’m telling the truth.” Ryosuke said softly.
“No...” Mirai said stubbornly.
“Mirai, please just... let’s just go to Zunija’s to be sure, okay?”
Mirai hesitantly nodded.

“He’s the one?!” Yuto exploded.
“Ohgo-san, why are you still caring for this idiot?! He hurt you! Why are you still pinning for him?!”
Suzuka was confused and so was Irie. Yuto was so angry he was turning red.
He made to jump at Irie but Suzuka blocked.
“Jingi, please go for now.” She said. Irie didn’t need to hear it twice.
“Nakajima-kun, what’s the problem?”
“You’re the problem! Why are you still holding on to him after he hurt you so much! He left you right?! And now he’s running back to you now that he’s in a pinch?! You don’t deserve him! You deserved better! “
“What are you talking about?”
“Suzuka, I like you!”
Suzuka’s eyes widen.
“Y-you like me?”
Yuto didn't answer. He just kissed her.

Chihiro entered Horikoshi High School and went straight to her brother’s classroom.
She found no one there. She sighed. Where was her brother?
She glanced at the clock and sighed again. ‘Never mind. Clinic’s close now. We’ll just have to make another appointment.’
She exited the classroom and bumped into someone.
“Sorry.” The tall boy said.
“You... You’re Irie-kun right?”
“Yamada-san.” Irie said recognizing her from their last visit to Yamada home.
“Are you okay? That looks like it hurts.” She pointed at his swelling cheek.
“I’m fine.”
“No, you’re not. Where’s your infirmary? I’ll help you fix that.” She said.
Irie didn’t know how to react so he just led the way to the infirmary.
She didn’t help him. She did the entire job.
He thanked her. She was really nice. But he remembered Chinen and Nakajima. No. She was definitely off-limits. He didn’t want another JUMP jumping at him.

Ryosuke and Mirai entered the restaurant.
Ryosuke thought he would definitely look like a fool because he was sure they wouldn’t be there anymore. But they still were.
“No...” He heard Mirai said.
“No...” She said more firmly. “They’re just talking.”
But Ryosuke knew she was only saying that. They approached them and she called him, “Ryunosuke-kun?”
“Mirai!” He exclaimed. He looked at her then at Mayuko who was smiling uncertainly.
“Mayuko, can I talk to Mirai for a second?”
“Sure...” She said still ignorant of what was going on.
He stood up and let Mirai outside. Mirai silently followed.
“Ryunosuke-kun?” Mirai asked hesitantly, expecting the worse.
There was a pause, and then Kamiki said, “I’m sorry, Mirai.”
Mirai didn’t reply, still waiting for something. An explanation, a reason. Just more.
“I wanted to tell you this morning but I was a coward. I-I fell out of love.” Kamiki said looking uncertain.
“Is-is she better, then?” She asked.
“No! That’s not it! I-I like you, Mirai, I really do. But I guess I don’t love you anymore. I’m so sorry.” Kamiki said.
“I understand.” But she didn’t.
“G-go back to her now.” She said as she was already leaving.
“Mirai,” Ryunosuke called after her, “I did love you.”
Mirai just smiled sadly at him.
When she was out of his sight, she broke. But someone caught her. Ryosuke.
Ryosuke hugged her and let her cry on him. “I’m so sorry, Mirai.” He whispered.

“Hey there.” Mariya smiled when she heard his voice.
“Hey.” She said.
“What are doing here at this hour?”
“I was actually waiting for my boyfriend.” Mariya said.
“Oh, I won’t bother you then.”
She giggled, “Misaki!”
He laughed and hugged her from the back. “I’ve missed you.”

Keiri fell asleep before Shrek ended but Chinen didn’t noticed because the last scene from the movie made a great impact on him.
‘I made a mistake’ He said and then he stood up and rushed out. He didn’t want to lose Umika.
Umika was still crying when she heard a knock.
“Who is it?” She said trying to sound normal.
But whoever they were didn’t answer. They just continued knocking. “I’m coming.” She called and hurried to the door. She opened it and she saw Shrek holding a sign that says ‘I’m sorry.’
She knew at once that it was Chinen. She was about to close the door but then he said,
“I was an ogre today. I’m so sorry.”
“He was only walking me home.” Umika said.
“I realized that. I’m really sorry. I was stupid.”
“You were.”
“I am. I’m stupid because I turn my back on something as important as love. I’m really sorry, Umika. Will you forgive this stupid ogre?”
She couldn’t help but smile when ‘Shrek’ kneeled in front of her.
“I can’t forgive this stupid ogre.” She said and Yuri couldn’t look at her.
“But I want my stupid Yuri back.”
Yuri stood up, removed the mask and hugged her.
Umika giggled, “My ogre turned into a prince.”

When Raiya returned to the HQ, he saw Keiri sleeping on the couch. He approached her.
“Keiri-chan?” He poked.
“Raiya-chan” She sat up sleepily.
“You’re still here?”
“Nii-chan isn’t finished with work.”
“Oh. Do you want flowers?” He asked.
“I like them!” Keiri said.
“Here.” Raiya passed the bouquet to Keiri.
“Thank you.” She smiled at him.
“Mirai-san said she was too old but you’re younger so I guess you would be fine. I like you, too and I want you to be happy.”

Inoo and Yabu witnessed the whole thing.
“Cute.” He said.
Yabu smiled.
“But I feel like I’m getting older. My four years old sister already received a confession. I feel so lonely.”
Yabu raised an eyebrow at him. Inoo laughed
“Well,” Inoo said. “I guess can’t really complain about feeling alone.”
Yabu put his arms on Inoo’s shoulders.

Mirai giggled in Ryosuke’s arms. “Now I understand why we became best friend. We’re set with the matching fate.”
Ryosuke had to smile. “Yeah, this is a freakishly eventful day. I think I made a new record. I’ve been rejected the same day I was answered.”
“It must suck to be you.” Mirai said, leaning her head on Ryosuke’s shoulder.
“But you’re stuck with me, aren’t you?” He teased.
