You know Merlin has dug into your brain when glancing at the news you see the word Pentagon and think it says Pendragon.

My dog's name is Tart and one time, when she was being really annoying, I accidentally combined her name with a certain princely prat's and called her Tarthur.

My roommate has yet to let me live it down.

HAHAHA. I called one of my cats Arthur once and was just baffled where that came from. I mean, his name is Jack. It's not even close.

Pentagon/Pendragon. pfffft same thing.

I had something like that happen on St. Patrick's Day when my mother asked me what irish names I could think of and the first two that came to mind were Colin and Eoin.

To be fair Colin is a very good irish name to come up with. Eoin, though that one might be hard to explain where you got it from. I've honestly never seen that spelling before.

Funnily enough that's the word the Word spell-check want to put in place of Pendragon each time I write it! I think of Merlin every time I read about an "Arthur". People can't be called Arthur anymore that I go and imagine them whining, "Merlin!".

That is too funny.

The article I was glancing at was the whole wikileaks thing and BRADLEY Manning had me confused as well. No one else is allowed to be Bradley either.
