I have spent most of my time getting ready for a June long trip with my truck and trailer. I need to go back to Columbus Ohio to take care of some business. My health has been poor lately due to stomach issues, (More on that after the next appointment,) so I have to cook all my food. Banned from Comfest? Why?

Banned for doing Cheese & Pants Theater, the 'Dead nigger in the garage' scene from Pulp Fiction. We did it the year before, same stage, same time, no issue. That year apparently even with the 100+ people watching and cheering us on with positive comments, "C&P we love you!". They banned us, and did not inform me of it until 1.5 months before the event. Did I mention that I was running the refuse and recycling aspect of the event, and had been for years, and that I also was on the committee that did the entertainment?

Gary, I don't know why you think Comfest is run by or contains "hippies." That term only existed for teens and young adults back in the mid-60's to define the counterculture subculture which included embracing personal freedom. Obviously, Comfest is not that. Please use a more accurate term for your description of these people, perhaps "closed minded imbeciles." Hippies had their place in time and can longer exist in this time.

Also me and Kail will be there at Scorched Nuts so look for us!!! I am trying to convince Kail to arrive on Thursday the 14th. Karen

Huh? They still exist, and Com-Fest is full of them, and I feel very comfortable using that term to describe them. I have been living a stones throw away from Berkley for the last three years, hung out with 'back to the landers' in Northern California, received treatment at the Height st Free Clinic, and dated several women who were adults in the summer of love. Not to mention talked to many Bay area natives about the whole Hippy thing I know Hippy when I see them regardless of the age , or location, or context! I do realize that there are allot of people who may dress like them or smell them them that are not hippies..
Any way, sounds like TradeMark and a few other west cost transplants will be around for the event.
