Finally picked up the roll that MotoPhoto f'ed up. As I learned, this wasn't a first time. They managed to screw up my friend's roll of slides about a month ago. Apparently a month is not enough time to learn how to operate the damn machine. When I asked the girl that works here how often this happens, she said: "It happens. Not often, but once ( Read more... )

First of all, thanks :)

They gave me whatever they didn't mess up for free, with a free roll of film and two coupons for free development, but seeing how I don't feel like taking a chance there again, I doubt i'll use it. Maybe I'll give them to my arch-nemesis :)

I had some other nice ones of the bridge, guess i'll have to revisit it. Oh well, it'll give me something to do next time we have a nice day. Zakim bridge was a huge part of the Big Dig project here in Boston, I think it's the biggest suspension bridge in the US, if not the world. Something like 4 lanes in one direction, 3 in the other. Or is it, 5 and 4? I don't remember, but it's impressive.

Oh and thanks again!

Noooo! Don't delete it... Or at least repost it minus the apology. I am surprised you even brought it up, was it eating away at your guilty conscience? :) I don't even remember what you said, so obviously i didn't think it offensive. I take pretty much everything people say here with a grain of salt, especially about topics like politics or philosophy. But I digress...

Photographing people.... That has never been my strength. Maybe it's because i don't have much experience with it. It is extremely demanding, because you have someone other than yourself to satisfy. I've taken pictures at friends' weddings and some of them came out quite nice, but I'd never accept the responsibility of being the wedding photographer. Are you kidding??? The pressure.....

I saw your answer. I thought the whole point was to ask you a question you wouldn't answer.. I was going for "What is the average airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow?" but it was too long to fit in the box. :)
