*He tilts his head.* Hypothetically speaking, if you had been given the opportunity to do so... What would you have done...? Perhaps I can conduct your goodbye in your stead.

*Actually seems surprised.* Oh, God I suppose that is what I was asking...

*He pauses for a moment.* Well, she's very good at making it clear what she wants, but perhaps as someone who's shared her time for longer than I, you might know what she doesn't realize she wants. *He goes on, tapping his chin with a hand.* I don't often surprise her, I value any opportunity I may get to do so.

You act like you ain't never been with a woman before. I thought a cowdog like you would know half the fun is learnin' through trial and error what the lady likes.

Hah! *A fond smile.* It is. I wouldn't argue against that, it's certainly been more than fun.

*Jingles the ice in his empty glass of water.* Still, one should be willing to use all the resources one has access to. The mere fact that I've asked you such an embarrassing question must show you how dedicated I am to this particular task.

*stares yet again*

All right, are we talkin' about pleasing her or writing a report about her now?

*His face flushes further for a moment, and he blinks, turning to the side on the stool.* Hm. Is that what it sounds like?

I probably sound like an absolute idiot, don't I? *He groans and covers his face with a hand.* I'm not accustomed to such things. I must be being wildly inappropriate, my apologies. *This time, he does indeed sound completely sincere, if inebriated.*

*grabs a bottle of bourbon and fills a low-ball of ice with it, sliding it towards Miles*

*Mutters low.* What is it about a woman that can make a man so stupid... *He takes a belt of bourbon.*

Pfff. *He gestures irritably with the glass.* She has all that... *he gestures with his free hand vaguely at his face.* ...making up to do. All I have is to wash my face and shave.
