i just tried to watch GUMMO after hearing for years from people what a fantastic movie it is
nobody told me it involved cat killing
i had to look away the very first scene
then tried to watch a bit more but i cannot watch something involving killing cats
it made me feel psyhically ill
i can watch lots of sick shit but not concerning animals

heh...me and my boyfriend hate those parts too..we kinda talked shit and ::sigh::d when we first watched it

but now when we re watch it, we just talk shit and realize "it's just a movie" and those cats are getting killed for reals

so we just kinda talk shit to get over it, and i still love that movie and my boyfriend who hates all the movies i like, still watches over and over with me...

but everytime a cat came into the film i started to freak out
so i left watching and came to play scrabulous instead

Note to self: Don't watch Gummo. I've also heard that it's a good movie. I'm the same as you, I like watching sick shit, but if it involves animals, then that's completely different.

I've never heard of this movie before... maybe under a different title.. i dunno.
But i know what you mean... I felt sick for Carnivale when they showed a kitten being suffocated.
