I really love Jack's mission. I love the idea that there are more powerful and advanced races around, but they don't have any experienced warriors left to lead them. It will be great to see them faced with Uther. He really is a bit of a barbarian and I can't see them be happy to take orders from him. But I assume that won't happen until a sequel? I'm reading this in bits :)

Yes, stuff like that will happen in the sequel, for which I have all kinds of fun lined up. I haven't started it yet, taking a break from 32,000 words in two months, but it will certainly be done this year.
