A/N: Well this is my first post EVER and I am therefore waiting with baited breath for the first thing to go wrong. I am posting because I have FINALLY just gone for it and written a fic. Well it is definitely what really happened in my head! It was a shame the BBC didn't have the same idea...oh well there is always series two...a girl can dream.

Thanks! I am glad you enjoyed it and I really hope I think of a new idea soon so I can become more at home with this whole thing. My computer skills are appalling and you cannot imagine the panic surrounding this post. I was sure I was going to end up doing something dreadful like delete the whole community. I know it wasn't possible but it didn't stop me panicking about it!

i think you picked on something in arthur there. he does hide his emotions most of the time. comes with the territory i suppose.

The emotion thing is something I picked up on pretty quickly about Arthur and the fact Merlin is able to make his feelings more obvious is something that I always thought was really sweet!

And thanks for the welcome too, it is weird because I have been watching this community from pretty much day 1 and yet to everyone here I am totally new! I appreciate being welcomed...it made me want to cry!

Yay! I like this version better, it should have happened like that in the episode. ^__^

I totally agree that this should have happened! Don't worry though! The boys seem to have a habit of poisoning themselves so I'm sure the next series will have plenty of chances for this kind of outcome! Well, we can dream...

And I have often wondered what Gaius would have to say about Merlin/Arthur...I guess in my head I just couldn't have Gaius be mean...though I had to stop myself including an "I don't believe it!" into the story!
