It's not grand, elaborate shows of love that cement their relationship. It's those gentle touches, the way they are always there for each other and the whispered words of comfort. There never were boundaries to their friendship; the friendly hugs gradually become stronger, more passionate. They never realise the change (never really care, either), they are simply soul mates falling deeper and deeper into a void that they cannot escape from. It’s the way they whisper into the night, both tangled in an embrace, eyes half lidded and legs brushing. The simple three worded phrase that tells them, maybe, just maybe, this might be something.
