I swear by JayRobb's products but I don't know if they're available in Korea. I either just shake it up with water or blend it with yogurt and fruit (I'm trying to get bigger, though, not smaller)

Reason I like it is the lack of artificial color/flavor, and to me it tastes good. It's clean enough for Whole Foods to sell it, for what that's worth.

They make egg white, whey, and I believe rice protein but I don't think I liked the way the latter tasted.

Looks good, but at $42 for 12 oz on GMarket I'm not sure it's worth it. Oh the joys of import markups. http://gmkt.kr/es7YZ7

Wow :( that's rough. I paid $100 for an 80 oz bag and I thought that was getting steep.

I like Whey Factors french vanilla. Good flavor, no artificial sweeteners. I drink it with water as I find it too thick with milk, but it is great in a smoothie too. I buy mine at a locally owned vitamin shop, so can't speak to availability.

Natural Factors? Same pricing problem, but they have a formula "Satisfast" that seems specifically for weight loss. I'll put that and JayRobb on a note and go to the mall and see if I can get it there for a reasonable price. Sometimes when GMarket says "12 oz" they mean a case of 12 bottles that are 12 oz each. At least I can hope.

I find powders expensive in general, not surprised they're crazy marked up there. Have you looked at silken tofu smoothies? Assuming you have a blender and access to silken tofu. I've not tried it but there are a ton of recipes for them out there, and supposedly it makes a reasonable chocolate pie too...

I'll have to figure out the local word for silken tofu, but a blender is fairly easy to get. Thanks!

Skip the mochas.
Skip a protien powder.
Eat kimbap.

And just eat a better diet.
All the supplements in the world wont cure a shitty diet and time wasting exercising routine

Mochas are an addiction--they stave off depression. I've mostly switched to lattes anyway.

My diet is low in protein because meat here is expensive.

Have you eaten kimbap? Augh. I am spoiled on California sushi. I did mention hedonism, right? Now galbi...ah, glorious galbi...

Samgyeopsal om nom nom nom! And yep, bulgogi is awesome. I'm a shameless carnivore.

If you ever find yourself in the LA area, check out the Kogi lunch truck. It's amazing.

0% fat plain greek yogurt has a lot of protein. low fat cottage cheese as well (though it can be a bit high in sodium)
