Unless you plan on a career of stepping out in front of busses, you could get by with a spine made of ordinary bone. The difficulty isn't so much selecting the material, but rather the installation process. Perhaps a nano-mechanical reconstruction of vertebrae in-situ would provide a reasonably non-invasive installation? If I figure out how to productize that, you'll be one of the first to know.

Incidentally, if you need a replacement skeleton that is designed for stepping in front of busses, swan dives off buildings, and other foolishness ...I'd recommend some additional tissue upgrades to ensure the overall function of the system under those operating conditions. A perfectly undamaged spine surrounded by an exploded puddle of a body would be relatively useless, not to mention it would look pretty silly [much like the overwrought exhaust manifold on the McLaren F1].
