I'm going through my past six years of bank statements. It is absolutely insane just how much money I've spent on alcohol, nights out, books, CDs, petrol, train journeys, etc. etc

i was under the impression you sent your bank ten pounds and they sent you a list of just the charges, or have i been misinformed and do they just send all your statements? i really need to do this soon too, i've had at least a grand taken off me over the last few years, it really spiralled out of control when i was addicted to heroin.*

Nah, they send all the statements. At once. And they scare you with their arrival as there are a lot of them.
