Well .. it's official.  There will be no children from this body of mine.  My girl-parts have turned against me, and now I must decide, and soon, what I will do about it

I don't want kids (I feel that this may be relevant to my thoughts)
It sounds like Option 2 has the least amount of long term suck with the most benefit - although it doesn't sound like there's any harm in trying option 1 first.

(We friended each other during one of the Ferret's friending frenzies, and after that I basically quit writing anything on LJ :V)

I would say avoid synthetic hormones for a long as possible.
