I'm a bit disappointed by the final battle with Saren. It felt a little empty - then again, if he had any henchmen, I would probably never have been able to beat him

I am literally just about to go start the second one. I did a completely paragon, universalist play through, but after I've finished all three, for my second play through I'm definitely gonna play as a renegade and kill the council lol
It just seriously irritated me through the whole game that they didn't believe a word Shepard said, even after he/she had proof. "Oh the world is coming to an end? We totally need to ground the ship of our most productive agent in the matter." Srsly, wtf is that?
I'm jealous! I won't be able to play for a few more days. Hopefully, the fact that they made it less like an rpg and more of a shooter won't disappoint me too much.
I tried to play renegade but ended up with a shit tone of paragon points. I get too emotional over video games and my guilt made me act nicer (well, more neutral).
I heard the council isn't any easier to deal with in the second one...but I guess that makes it semi-fun....and frustrating.
I'm not terribly sure how I feel about the changes yet. Also, I feel like a different group of people may be writing Shepard's dialogue. She/he just seems slightly... off?
I'm a little concerned that I'm gonna have the same problem (choosing paragon options against my will) on my second play through because these games make me emotional, too. Apparently, I get a serious face when there are cut scenes.
I switched it up a little and made my Shepard tech-ish, too, which is actually much easier to remember to use than I thought it would be. When I was playing as straight combat with my squad's powers set to auto, I pretty much never used my own powers, although I might eventually miss the assassination power.
