"How long has it been since we all spent time together - as a group- before obligations took away our Friday nights" -I miss those days of mine too. Even though we don't drink or do drugs, hanging out is still fun. Now we've all got too much work to do.
When I went to New York, I bought some great street art from a man on Brooklyn Bridge. It is a good city to feel alive in when the right mood takes, the place has a presence that makes you feel God like. I can't say I feel that in many English cities, beautiful as one or two are.
I hope, however unlikely it may be, that someone sells a dilapidated city or town to a uber-rich gallery and some graffiti artists, and turns it into a thriving tourist attraction. It can be so beautiful, it would be innovative and a unique opportunity to turn a weakness into a strength.
Are you from the UK? I'm originally from London...well...Poland...well...I suppose it gets complicated. I've been debating moving back to the UK for the longest time. Just never quite happens.
That sounds like an amazing idea. I can't believe I never thought of it before (not that I have the money or the means haha). It would be amazing. My pictures are from a building in Queens that is dedicated to graffiti. There are such beautiful works of art and it's always changing.
I am, I'm a Cambridge boy, now living in the North. Ha! Which part of London is Poland in ;)
You must be pretty cultured then, that's an interesting disparate bunch of locations. I suppose London is a little like NY in a way, but I much prefer New York as an atmosphere.
Wouldn't it be though? I hope it happens someday. I am sure there is someone crazy and rich enough to make it happen. Maybe one day Banksy will splash the cash x
