I broke my wrist at the start of the summer. It figures that the day...the bloody day....I got my cast removed, I get into a car accident, and end up back in a cast...well...wrist brace. My boyfriend still doesn't understand why it makes me laugh.

Well...if it's a brace, hopefully it will be gone before too long. Certainly less time than the cast.

They said I would probably only need it for a few months, but at least I have the option of taking it off for a few minutes a day. The cast was driving me mad towards the end of it. haha

I would say you can't catch a break, but that isn't strictly true, is it.

Might I advice you try applying as an extra for BBC's popular show 'Casualty?' £50 a day, or it used to be, all the sandwiches you can eat, and maybe they will cut you a little share of the money they will save on prop medical supplies with all the authentic goodness you bring to the party?
