I really think that these days having a degree is no surefire way to get a good job. I went to University and it hasn't seemed to really help me. My friends that didn't go to Uni are doing far better for themselves! It's frustrating. I'm sorry that things aren't going well with the job search. It's a rough time for finding work :( I hope your luck changes soon ♥

erf. i'm sorry to hear about your troubles. it bites! fortunately and unfortunately, my parents both speak Spanish fluently (however, English is their first language), but i can't seem to pick up on the tongue. i'll be attending Le Cordon Bleu soon for pastries and baking, but in their degree program they offer.. dun dun dunnn!! SPANISH. hoboy.

hugs.
there is a reason. What It is, I don't know... but there is a reason.
Keep your chin up dear.
maybe call back that woman and say, I am not fluent, but I would be willing to get the rosetta stone to study and test through in the first month of employment.
That might be what they were "fishing for" when they mentioned the job.
