I am looking at making the decision of going to a double major (business admin and business/organizatinal innovation) or just stick with my single degree in business admin. It will only add four more classes, but...will it pay off? hmmmm
The BS in Business program is designed to prepare the graduates with the requisite knowledge skills, and values to effectively apply various business priciples and tools in an organziational setting. The BSB entry sequesnce exposes students to valuable theroetrical knowledge and best practices in the areas of management, organziational behavior, reserach and evalution, and critical thinking and problem solving.
Graduates of OI specialization will be prepared to apply design principles. Innovative practices, and creativity to develop business processes, stratagies, services, and products. Addtionally, students will be prepared to create strategic and tactical plans, apply basic project managment principles to the creative process, and manage intangible assets. This concentrates on strategic performance imporement of all busienss planning, global sourcing and procurement, production and logigistical activities that make an organization's supply chain. The concenctration highlights the important role a supply chain plays in satisfying custimer demands and expactations. The concentration also emphasizes a company's need to develop and maintain a susutainable competitive advatneage through the effcient and effective performances of all operations within its supply chian. Finally, this program bridges the gap between traditional business thinking and an innovative and design focused philosophy.
