Your flowers are gorgeous! My hubby bought a rhubarb plant for us this year. It probably won't produce much this year, but I'm so happy I can look forward to making cobblers and pies next year!

they say that it is best to wait two years from seeding your rhubarb before havesting it. So.. if you bought a plant.. then that is one year down.. next year you can harvest....

yeah, kinda like waiting for asparagus (but the wait for that is longer.. i think it is three years)...

Very cool. We planted these purple green beans. Haven't tasted them but the mountain man's grandmother says they turn green when you cook them. We've got snow peas, tomatillos and strawberries!

tomotillos take over the whole plot.. watch out.. you may have 8+ lbs of sauce by the time you are done...LOL.. as we found out last year.. we even gave a lot away.. and we still have like 5 lbs..
