I was curious, we share a favorite author it seems.
Anais Nin.
I enjoyed your first three entries. Keep it up!
I myself always wanted to keep a diary, but was always worried about privacy.
Obviously not the case now.
It never seems that I am exposed, only that I am shedding light on the darkness that sometimes lingers inside.

Thank-you for the lovely sentiments. I, too, feel a bit 'exposed' by the journaling but realize i enjoy reading others entries and do not make judgements or even "think" much about them~ just enjoy the consciousness and the pen's meanderings. So I must remember, I am not the center of anyone else's Universe.
Yes, i have loved Anais Nin for many years. Have you read "Delta of Venus" and "Little Birds"?
I love her name and how it is pronounced ANNA EEES NEEEN.
I grew up in KC, what do you do in KC? I am now living in Colorado.

I am currently living in Lawrence
I love the her name as well, I am always irritated by book snobs who think they know much about her and don't know how her name is pronounced My dog is actually named after her
I actually do not feel exposed here ever which is what I was trying to say in my last comment
I am not working at present as I am undergoing chemotherapy for ovarian cancer and living on my fathers good graces
He has a nice home on five acres just west of town and we have converted his basement into an apartment for myself
Lots of wildlife etc
feel free to read my journal as most of this is in there
