Joan has slowly become one of my my favourite classic movie actresses over the years. We watched Mildred Pierce the other night, which inspired me to get off my arse and do this post. I'm not sure what it is about Joan, I don't think she's as great an actress as the likes of Bette or Kath, but there's something about her that's so easy to watch and

I see you've just watched Possessed and Grand Hotel - I love Grand Hotel.
Trog - I gave it a go when it was on TV late on night many, many years ago... and lasted about 30 mins - to say it was dire is being kind!!

Are more of these planned or are you just doing your most favourite stars and not all of the old movie stars you love?

Thank you! So glad you enjoyed! I really enjoyed doing this one, also. I do just love Joan so much. Yes, I love Grand Hotel too. I wasn't fussed on it the first time I saw it, but it's grown on me a great deal. I've also heard not great things about Trog - I shall probably do my best to avoid it!

I was planning to do only five posts altogether - my final one is going to be Garbo. I hadn't planned on doing anymore, but I'm not going to rule it out! Or maybe I shall do something on my favourite movies instead. I don't know. I shall give it some thought!

Last year I started to make one, just one, icon from my fav movies, and then I was adding a little synopsis to it - the plan was... still is, to do my all time top 50 movies.
Currently I have managed 3 icons and 3 synopsis's!
Pathetic, I know - I just never seem to have enough time or am too tired!

I shall defo do the Garbo one. Not sure about Fred and Ginger, I do like them a lot, but haven't seen all their movies. I do love to watch them dance though.
