Well lords and ladies - Happy Monday. I've been happy since last Thursday when my WW weigh in told me that I have lost 10.2 pounds, nearly 9 of those while I was in Michigan eating five pieces of wedding cake! I know it's silly but I was so motivated to hear that since it was a surprise. I had no idea if I had lost or gained weight. Goes to show ( Read more... )

Congratulations, mah dear. That isn't silly, it is wonderful and I am glad for you. :) And I must be disconnected from my body, too, because I didn't notice those eight pounds that jumped on my butt this summer. Unlike my fabulous older sister, I have not been good with my gym dates. :D
I wish I could carry my own food, too! Freschetta pizza= :( and brie is not my favorite cheese.
Remind me when the reunion is and I might try to come home, too! Depending on the final car/no car decision.
I just can't decide where to put HP on my ridiculous reading list. Chances of not knowing what happened until next summer? tee hee
Snuggle hugs, proud Kate

Oh, I got my CD player to work and listened to Taming of the Shrew on audio book. My first! What a proud Holly moment. :)

Also picked up Wishful Thinking at a garage sale (Drew was adorable but it isn't a fav).

And I am on to see Kris Delmhorst and Jeffrey Focault at the BOB Friday night!

SUPER COOL for the upcoming concert. I hope you enjoy it! They're very good. Too bad Peter isn't there too. He's doing a series of concerts that he is biking between as a ecologically-sound exercise.

And for Wishful Thinking, yes, she looks great even if the movie is weird.

The reunion is October 6th, which I think is a Saturday. It would be good to see you too :)

Well, if you hold off long enough, you can borrow my CDs and listen to it, say... after October... or just put it on hold at the library and when the 712 people ahead of you have read it, you'll get it and can read it then.

You can always carry bananas and apples and grapes and reduced fat string cheese with you and eat some a bit before a catered lunch, and then you can get away with eating only a small slice of pizza or whatever fatty stuff that is your offering. Rats! Now you know all my secrets.
